The first one was so good, I'm going to buy this game as soon as it comes out. The units that are part of RO are really serious too, which is added fun if you try to join one.
If they are doing a story driven campaign they need to do it properly. I'll use CoD as an example of what not to do. In Cod by the end of the game you've killed like 500-600 guys. I mean that's fucking ridiculous. There were people in WW2 who had killcounts like that, but they are ussually national heros, the thing about CoD is that 500 kills is basically just another day on the battlefield for your average soldier :downs:
If you're going to be killing that many people in the red orchestra campaign it'd be nice if people would acknowledge the fact that you're basically an ubermench. Like "fuck man, lets stick with this guy hes a killing masheen"
I'm hoping for something like CoD, but a little more beleivable. For instance, I don't want any "supa-1337 spec-ops!!!1" type missions, or, if they must have them, keep them few and far between.
I want to take part in bread-and-butter infantry missions. Assaulting enemy positions with a group of NPCs that act as your comrades, defending positions, manning the main gun of a tank, stuff like that.
I don't want to sneak into an enemy base and find half the goddamn enemy military sitting there firing bullets with my name on them at me. I want something beleivable.
beleivable.

I hope they do a good job, but in all honesty I don't really care about the SP. If it's good I'll still play it, but MP is all that I think about.
Devs shouldn't waste time on single player campaigns, Red Orchestra is a multiplayer game. If you want to practise your aim you can play versus bots which is more than enough.
I could are less if it had cut-scenes.
It would be a waste of time to include a story. Just keep it like the old Osfront and just have Practice mode.
Just saying, many tank crewmen were riflemen with minimal training in tanks. At least thats what I seem to remember.
No, actually. They weren't. You can't operate a tank with minimal training in it.
Hope I'm not late. I found an image of the PzIV and its interior.

I'm not sure if i understood Alan correctly about Tanks shooting Buildings, but heavy concrete Buildings will not be able to destroyed by Tanks (which is realistic).
