Not everyone preorders you know. It's still launch DLC because if you don't preorder it, it will cost 10-15$.
How is it launch day dlc if it isn't available on launch? Anyhow, sure hope the beta is soon.. just like everybody else.
I seriously love Tripwire, giving the owners of the original a 20% discount for a game that's already $40? Fucking love these guys.
Still $51.50 for the European peasants, converted of course.
Still $51.50 for the European peasants, converted of course.
The horrors of having a more valuable currency :v:
If RO2 doesn't overheat my gpu like BF3 did in the alpha then I'll love Tripwire. :v:
If RO2 doesn't overheat my gpu like BF3 did in the alpha then I'll love Tripwire. :v:
It shouldn't. RO2 will be optimized were BF3 currently is not currently and because Tripwire cares more about aesthetics then graphics.
They care more about people who practice self-discipline? :v:
Fixed, no idea what I was thinking when I typed that.
Hopefully people who got the DDE will have the option to not have the unlocks straight off the bat, I didn't get it for that, unlocking weapons is the best part. I often restart my character on BC2 just so I can have the satisfaction of unlocking everything again.

So getting the MKB 42 earlier is awesome, but I do feel that people who bought the DDE have an advantage over people who bough the normal version.
Pre-ordered it for 23€ in UK. Feels good now.
I think the deluxe edition for me was about £20
I think the deluxe edition for me was about £20
£23.99 here, regular was about £20.
Hopefully the Beta opens up this weekend or early next week

Shhhh that came out as result when I searched red in Google.
Joo call that red, this is red Red vs BF3, go!

Also the bolt-action snipers are completely superior to the semi-automatic snipers. So those unlocks don't really affect the game at all and doesn't give anyone an advantage.
A storm blew my 5.1 speaker system yesterday, I need to rustle up a replacement before I get access, my monitor is awesome for picture, but is terrible for sound.
Just the general gameplay. Maybe it's the fact that they're both WW2. :v:
The idea that you run around on a battlefield and hold objectives are in both games, but for the most part the gameplays are very different. Save for recoil and bullet spread, DoD has very simple aiming which isn't realistic; it's a lot more "arcade" style. Combat is much more close quarters, and the world is just less interactive as a whole. Red Orchestra is much, much more realistic, tries to portray weaponry and battle atmosphere very close to how the battles actually were, and battles take place among long-distances and firefights are often a matter of seconds. Don't get me wrong though, I see what you mean. I wouldn't call them similar because of their gameplay, but I get where you're going.
Found out I can get it for 13,25$. Tempting.
£23.99 here, regular was about £20.
£20 if you bought the original Red Orchestra on Steam.
