I asked him if he was running max settings but he says this "In theory yes but I don't think Ultra actually does anything yet. We don't have the max detail textures yet I know that for sure."
Yeah that doesnt really look like max settings. Since on the fallen heroes thing there isn't really any snow particles falling.

This reminds me of a story I heard once.
An American soldier was in a house during a battle with a German soldier who was shot. The German was on the ground, the American standing. They seemed to be both trying to stop fighting and the American was attempting to aid the German with his wound.
As the German was on the ground, he reached into his pocket. Fearing a gun, the soldier hit him in the face with his rifle butt.

IMO the Eastern Front is more interesting than all the other fronts. The Red Army and Heer took more casualties in the first year of war than all the other allied nations did throughout the whole war.

Last time I checked there were only two servers and one had like 5 people on it, the other was close to full. But I may have been checking it at a bad time of the day.

Weird. It's quite possible you were checking at a bad time of day. The TWB EU server, Old Glory server, and Russian community server usually have between 42-50 people on them. Sometime both of the TWB EU servers do.

I doubt it. I heard the story in a documentary, with the American veteran recalling what happened. He never mentioned that the German soldier died, and since it was over 60 years ago he was somewhat laughing about it, so I'm going to take a guess and say no.
Both of those stories are really beautiful reminders that war is men fighting men in the end, and that even some great compassion happens towards enemies in the middle of it.
