So, I go to pre-order this game, just about to add the Digital Deluxe edition to my cart when I noticed this. Now I'm sol because barely any of my friends have it and none that have the lovely gory version would trust me.

They rate games extremely erratically. Games that should have been given an adult rating (which would mean it's banned) were given a rating that allows anyone above 15 to buy it, and many parents will buy those kind of games for kids, but would never get them anything with an adult rating. Likewise, the opposite happens too.

It's worse for how they rate films in America.
Violence and ultragore is ok. But show anything like homosexuality and sex outside of missionary and it needs to be recut or have scenes removed.

Either next week or the week after. They won't do it one week before release though.
They mentioned that they will announce when the beta start soon enough that it wouldn't make sense to post it in their FAQ.
