I liked how they used Heroes mountain song in Black or White.
I played Populous: The Beginning quite a bit. I bought Populous II, but for some reason it never was able to run on my computer... Why does Populous II look like the older game anyway?
I was watching Dungeon Keeper, but it's more, well, RTS-like then godgame-like, atleast, that's what I think
"Oh my god, you've killed Keneth!"
You bastard? Anyway those songs in B&W1 were catchy as fuck.
Sims is not? Well you control people afterall.
Sims is not? Well you control people afterall.
The Sims is a strange hybrid between RTS, simulator, architecture, and doll house. And it is incredibly addicting. You can't throw fireballs/meteors and make giant turtles crap on your opponent's dead soldiers in The Sims.
Sims is not? Well you control people afterall.
Honestly, Spore is more of a God game than the Sims. I mean, you actually get to create rather unique creatures in Spore and that's pretty god-like. [editline]6th August 2011[/editline] Also OP, Spore is mentioned in the first paragraph but not listed with the other games
Spore can be considered a god game in the Space stage after you disable all of the 'Fix all of our problems for us, ally!" shit.
I just noticed something: 2001: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1106779/664c7b663b808b1fc9dcb95771698fef.jpg[/t] 2005, just 4 years later: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1106779/blackwhite2-lg.jpg[/t] A different genre, but it still proves my point: 2007: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1106779/crysis2_screen_1.jpg[/t] 2011, also 4 years later: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1106779/crysis2_screen5.jpg[/t] When did Moore's law stop applying to graphics?
Also if you guys know any good B&W 1 gameplay videos, link it.
-snip, late, let's just say "What MasterG said"-
Hopefully when Lionhead are done spending years reskinning fable every year maybe they might make a decent Black and White 3. But based off fable 2 and 3 I don't Lionhead care that much about making games anymore.

I wish Lionhead would stop trying to shoehorn in gimmicks and massively overhype their games based on said gimmicks. Also, why does the HUD in the first Crysis look so much better than the one in the second game?
When did Moore's law stop applying to graphics?
When we reached the point where it's too expensive to make the graphics look any prettier, and most people don't have computer capable of handling more than this.
"There's a basic principle about computer graphics: it gains on look all the time and it gets cheaper all the time." I miss this :smith:
Black and White is the only game in which you can make a giant cow devour a paedophile. Fact.
I just might need to play that game.
