I was suprised to not see Condemned being mentioned until I saw Rebi post. gonna have to give another recommendation to Condemned: Criminal Origins. to this day i still think that game had the most amazing atmosphere in any game. it still stands in my top 10 favourite games. I have to say, the complex controls and considerable difficulty in the later levels make it way more rewarding to do well than in other games.

It's a spin-off of Dynasty Warriors (also amazing) that's based on Japanese history, rather than Chinese history. Were it not for System Shock way back in 1994, Bioshock would not exist.

Underrated gem? Nah, it was a Big Deal and had a lot of coverage before it came out. It even broke Xbox sales records on the first week of its release. But it turned out to be fairly mediocre and not anywhere near the Halo-killer it was touted to be.

Yes I already did post this in the previous 10 threads like this one, no I won't stop it.
