Stupid England with stupid connection speeds :argh:
What's the best ISP to go with when I live in the West Midlands? (Asking only Brits with good connection speed here)
Okay, that's fucking weird. I have a 2 mb/s download and 120 kb/s upload, yet the Dead Space 2 demo worked like a charm. Quite honestly, I'm really impressed. The controls felt a little floaty, but it's barely noticeable. I'm going to try out the Mass Effect 2 demo.
Worked flawlessly. Not bad, not bad.
I had this problem too, solved it by disabling ad-block.
Thanks, that solved the issue for me, too

Woah... BC2 is awesome. Unfortunately, Java decided to update (read as: crash chrome) on me in the middle of the first level.
Worked perfectly for me. Seems like a great thing to do with game demos to be honest. Less of a hassle since you aren't actually installing anything. It'll never replace playing games on your own system tho.
Worked great for me, played the Dragon Age demo no lag or anything
I find it amusing how some people just instantly say that this will never take off. Can you see into the future?
I would personally like to have this in the future. Some of you people are just seem to write it off in its early stages simply because it isn't letting you either try it or you lag whilst doing it.
Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will this.
Does online play work through it ?

For me, it doesn't.
It worked great for me, i thought there was going to be more mouse-lag but it didn't ruin the singleplayer experience for me.
What the hell is BC2?

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Running flawlessly for me, though I already own the game.
This actually works, I just played the Dead Space 2 demo. Resolution wasn't the best but it was very playable.
Too bad I have all of these games on my computer.
Does multiplayer work for anyone? I can't seem to play online ( i have bad company 2 purchased )
I love playing this at the public library. It's a great alternative to portable gaming. I just wish that you could access your steam account through it and play your steam games over it.
This shit convinced me to buy BC2. $20 well spent, finished it in a little less than 8 hours and it was very enjoyable.
Fuck yeah I live in one of the countries where almost everybody has 5 mb/s or more.
Luckily i have 12-24 mb/s (Yes, i got one of those varying things, usually stays at about 15 mb/s)

It'll work great in the future once higher speed internet becomes more commonplace.
Too bad I can't play because my internet "isn't good enough"
I wasnt aware that 2 megabytes a second down and 500 kilobytes up was shitty.
I get 40 Megabytes a second down, and 10 megabytes up and i still cant get good bandwidth for the game, so.
I think it also depends how close you are to one of their "data centers".

Actually depends a lot on which server you choose. Sometimes I would get 20mb/s better if choosing Paris for example over Stockholm which is closer.

Got this after I closed that game and page.

Canada, home of the slowest internet for it's price in the developed world.

As well as pointless bullshit internet caps.
