The only time to use optics is at REALLY long ranges. Short and medium ranges are best to use hip fire.
Also we need to do more clan matches but most of the time I'm the ONLY one online or we need to substitute some of the clan members we have for active ones.

If I remember correctly, that M249 the boss drops is available as a GCoin capsule weapon.

On an unrelated note, there are too many rifles. I can't really see how they are all different from one another on a scale that changes how you play the game. Can somebody explain what rifles and guns in general to avoid and which ones to buy?

Well ever since the L85A2 was introduced, most everyone says that it's basically a better version of the tar because it's even more accurate and stable.
So yeah I wouldn't get the tar since you probably got the L85 for free.
Game still crashes after ~3 minutes of being ingame. It was fine when I ran it a few hours ago, and I had downloaded and replaced the GameGuard folder. Now it freezes and I have to close it via Task Manager.
I'll give this game a shot---It's free, so I've got nothing to lose.
Although, to be honest, I don't like the whole "Use real Money to buy super-duper-special Items" principle.
Any game(s) that make use of real money to buy special in-game items are always filled with rich snobs constantly shoving their flashy goods in your face; of which they spent an overly excessive amount of money to get.

I'm hating the FAMAS atm. The ROF is way too high imo and usually it's only useful at extremely close range and not even medium, and the mag is too small.

It's honestly not that bad, even if the capsule weapons are better than a lot of normals. The Mosin Nagant has 99 damage, although there is a regular sniper that has 100. Not sure how the rest of their statistics compare.
I think the P38 has the highest pistol damage, besides maybe the revolver.

A lot of the "capsule" guns can be bought with in-game money and besides, those guns work like a lottery where you only have like a 1 in 200 chance of getting that gun so it's not like just anybody can buy whatever gun they want whenever they want.
The only capsule guns you can buy with game money are a few of the reskinned ones with better stats.
Or maybe it's just me.

It's more or less a gamble for players who want sexy WWII weapons that happen to be a bit powerful. Not by much, though.

I never seem to get the mystery box weapons. I don't know if it's because my team sucks too much to survive long enough or I'm just not the one picking it up but whatever.

At first I found the PPSh rather 'meh', but then I grew abit more fond of it and my S/D went up to 2.120 :buddy:

I quite like the Spectre M4 too, so that's a nice backup when my PPSh vanishes into thin air.
I noticed I have a tendency to constantly swap weapons from the dead so my durability doesn't go down
I wish you didn't have to get to level 6 to get shotguns, they're pretty much the main attraction of the game to me :v:
I like the starter guns though, saving up my cash for other things, but at least the default MP5/G3 are really good, the only one I've been using the temporary one for is the SV98 because it's so much better than the M24.

I've tried but I can't do anything with the G3. It's like after you land the first shot, the gun goes completely crazy.
I'd probably buy the Rem870 if I weren't saving for the M14EBR.
the rem870 is so good, i love owning scrubs in escort.
Sweet, got a Desert Eagle and that African face from mysterious boxes!
And some supply point bonus.
