Im fine with MOST of the stuff but why the hell can't you give your healing salves to allies anymore? I usually roll a poor mans shield straight away on bounty if i get a friend to buy me healing items. [editline]20th October 2013[/editline] When i go solo on a lane
You can still use them on teammates. You just can't give the actual item away.
This noclip crap with pudge and VS is mind bogglingly poorly implemented. -There are dozens of spots on the cliffs that you can get off of where it bugs and you cannot do so. -It only considers a small portion of the cliffs that you can do it on. -You get flying vision for duration. -It lets you do it on allies deliberately to let them take shortcuts. Just figure out the range of possible areas and knock people off the cliffs if they get hooked/swapped up onto them.
Bug report it on the dev forums.
There's already about a dozen threads, and I've already chimed in once or twice.
they're finally adding this brood set thank god
i thought everyone hated this steampunk bdsm set
they're finally adding this brood set thank god
Not fond of the face but holy shit I want the rest of that
No, this is armor. There was another set that gave her robotic parts.
Wait, this isn't it?
cant wait to go blink euls on venge
cant wait to go blink euls on venge
Or just throw a Mirana arrow to their face. 5 second stun, 5 seconds of no clip, have fun staying on the hill, nooblord
I love the rework, now axe can be Axe and not just some guy that pops out and battle hungers you as you get kicked out of lane then snowball out of control because he got like 10 battle hunger kills in the first 15 minutes
Yeah, he's gonna feel less restricted in the early game it's not even fun What do you guys think about Brood + Slarks transition into captains mode? Slarks new buff isn't a straight up buff so he'll probably end up in CM unchanged, but Brood is kind of weird. I really don't like the fact we get another hero that can literally go out of map bounds
Rubick with aghanims is really really strong, you feel like a Invoker with aghanims. I can't wait to try it out against real players
How the fuck am I going to play Axe with these new tranquils? To get the health regen, I have to stand aside and just wait until that extra 10 hp regen kicks in, and this is just not how I want to play Axe.
You rely on regen only in the early game anyway, you stick with them because even when broken they give you a good movement speed plus some armor.
Nah I think tranquils for jungling are straight up dead They're more for roaming now and vanguard is really good on axe even before the buff so I think it's best to go back to the classic phase vanguard blink build
I just realised. The new Tranquils will fully regen the HP loss from Soul Ring over its CD with no additional mana spendage, which is very nice.

Is it just me who fucken luvs dis update? [editline]20th October 2013[/editline] Is it just me or does the hyperstone cost change alter the whole game
Not fond of the face but holy shit I want the rest of that
hardly any set is worth it when fully equipped, mixing shit ftw. [editline]21st October 2013[/editline] imo anyway
Silencer's set is a perfect example of a set that either needs to be worn completely or not at all. Especially the helmet just looks like a giant purple dildo if worn without the rest.
Played my first .79 game, was against an Alch. His ult regen was definitely kinda scary, especially when my team didn't focus him hard enough. I played as slark, and his ult was basically a free aegis on a pretty short CD. You can just ult and pounce away if you're not stunlocked, then you just duck into fog for a couple seconds and come back out with full health.
I'm surprised Icefrog hasn't released DotA's 6.79 version yet. He didn't release an update to bring "First blood"'s changes either.
I'm surprised Icefrog hasn't released DotA's 6.79 version yet. The Bloodseeker move speed cap breaching is, I think, impossible to do in the WC3 engine. Can you see what I'm getting at?

There is a lot of improvements Icefrog could do to the game that are possible by "hacking" the map even more, but for some reason he hasn't. (like fixing the map's tiles so that they look less awful.)
I'm surprised Icefrog hasn't released DotA's 6.79 version yet. He didn't release an update to bring "First blood"'s changes either.
Both of these not being released in WC3 Dota has caused a lot of people to think he's finally stopped updating it entirely.
Both of these not being released in WC3 Dota has caused a lot of people to think he's finally stopped updating it entirely.
I don't think he'll stop working on it just yet. If he does he'll need to make an announcement about it.
I tried the new tranquil boots on clockwork when I was roaming, and I thought it worked out really great. I should try go soulring as somebody mentioned for solving mana issues. You are so freaking fast with tranq boots and drum, and now it's really good on gankers/roamers because when it breaks it's not totally useless like they were before.
For all the changes in 6.79, one thing still rings true. Practically all Bloodseeker pickers are trash-talking assholes.
First, I am quite happy with Undying's buff. Just have to change up my skill order now. Second, for some reason I was still able to see the enemy Clinkz at times when he was invisible or in the fog of war. Not sure what caused it though. [editline]22nd October 2013[/editline] Not sure if the replay will show what I saw. But I'll download it and take a screenshot if it does.
Both of these not being released in WC3 Dota has caused a lot of people to think he's finally stopped updating it entirely.
you mean other than him straight up saying "i am still going to update dota 1"??
