Each of my pictures bare shitty results, unless there is some sort of a trick regarding image dimensions or something all I get is unclear block clusterfuck using that application on the site.

You need to lower the pixel amount per block, and also you should weed out any blocks with colors that were not originally there.

Would anyone be willing to record a timelapse of me making one of these? I was going to just record my perspective in Minecraft, but I have to do a lot of pausing to switch between MC and Photoshop, so it would be a nightmare to edit out all those pause screens.

Recording you for days would take petabytes of data, knowing the horrible lack of compression on most game recorders.
