I got used to waiting
word up
everything is okay because its valve
Half Life Ep. 1 and 2 were delayed for a while and they turned out really well.
So go make a cardboard sign and protest outside their offices you pussy.
Antonio. -Sincerly, They Are Working On It.
Valve aren't even working on CS:GO. They're only funding it. Hidden Path, the guys who made Defense Grid, are working on it.
I am slightly upset with Valve, I would never ever not buy anything from them, or think of them any less in the end, but it is quite upsetting that they haven't said anything about EP3 except a few tidbits. When it comes I will quite literally nerdgasm, it will most likely be the best game I have ever played in my life by a large margin, and for that any wait is worth it, but I just wish they would say something about it, anything would be nice. Maybe this was their intention though, to keep it secret until nearly the last minute. Maybe an ARG will come along that people may not think much about because of the past of ARGs, but will actually be the official announcement of Episode 3 when people figure it out. The wait will be worth it, especially since it's a passive type of wait, you go along with your life and one day the game will be announced and you will be excited, reminded of the days when you were younger when you could not contain your excitement at the upcoming release of Half Life 1 or Half Life 2, and it will be a highlight of your year, or perhaps your life, as pathetic as that may sound, but it will be an amazing time regardless. [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] I sort of just exploded with passion about Half Life, fucking love Half Life
im gay -Sincerely, Antonio

Have to agree with the OP... Sort of. I don't think CS:GO is crap (as far as I know), but Valve has surely taken a long time with EP3. There's a point where it's excusable that they don't want to release it just yet, but this is just ridiculous.
Antonio Banderas is Spanish, not Mexican.
they speak spanish in mexico you know
Valve aren't even working on CS:GO. They're only funding it. Hidden Path, the guys who made Defense Grid, are working on it.
Not entirely true. Some Valve mappers and designers are, in fact, working on it.
Get out Antonio, I am piss!
Half-Life 2 took a whopping 5 years to develop and when it eventually got released it really blew us away. Chances are good EP3 will be a repeat of that.
Development is primarily going to be handled by Hidden Path, Valve is working on Dota 2 as well, it's not like all their resources are going towards GO, personally I think it's great, just the thing CS:S needed. Also, Valve owes you NOTHING, they aren't obligated to pursue every fucking whim of every member of the community, get over it. This is the kinda thing people wanted when they heard CS:S was being put on Source 2009.
If you've been a customer for over 3 years like me and payed for several of their games, yeah, they're obliged to give you satisfaction if they want to keep you as a customer.
Don't worry, it's coming. -Sincerely, Antonio
Antonio is obviously not your real name. -Sincerely, Antonio
Hey, did you guys hear? The op is pissed at valve.
Hey, did you guys hear? The op is pissed at valve.
I did not know. -Sincerely, Antonio
DNF was a failure, at leaast for me. Both gameplay and story/charater wise. They made Duke too silly. He used to be badass. :smith:
What people seem to forget is that yes, we waited over 12 years for DNF, but what we had in the end is the equivalent of more or less 4 years of developpement at best. And don't blame Gearbox for it, blame 3d Realms, because THEY are the ones who originally took FOREVER. Gearbox DELIVERED the game, they mostly ironed out what was not finished. Most of the work was made by 3dRealms. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go enjoy DNF.
I would TOTALLY go gay for Antonio Banderez rainbow if you agree.
-Sincerely, Antonio
New facepunch meme? -Sincerely, Antonio
I am angry at a video game company, so I am going to complain about them on a fourm were pretty much everyone else loves that video game company. What could possibly go wrong?
Now I know I might sound like a nerd, but this just doesn't make sense. I look at Steam, and I see the spotlight. "Okay, I wanna see what's new." I check, and it's Counter Strike: Global Offense. What the fuck Valve. We have been waiting so long just for HL2 Ep3, it's finally been confirmed about a year ago, but now you're making a new counter strike? Why are you doing this? You are basically losing customers for doing this shit. -Sincerely, Antonio
That's okay, I could totally take your place as a customer. -Sincerely, Antonio
