Whatever it's called, the spawn place. With Grand Central Station?
You mean the place i covered in dirt? :v:
Maybe. It had signs out front that said 'Nazi symbol on the roof' and there was also a giant sword monument nearby.

protip it isn't v far from spawn, in the middle of a desert, with lots of cacti
You should check out the mines on this map, specifically the shadowmarsh ones. :v:
Question, how in the hell do I open this bloody thing?
I have 7zip, but it won't open it for whatever reason. It says it can't open that file as an archive.
1000th post, woo.
I found what's wrong with it, I think:
Right-click > 7zip > Extract files...
The giant floating glowstone dick makes it all fit together. Also, it's a shame that half of the cities are burned by lightning.

Just setup a temp server for it, much more convenient.
I love the fact that places like "Shadowmarsh" are within walking distance from "Bobville." :v:

Quick question for the OP. I've been reading the Wiki, and I'm interested in exploring the abandoned Sulsamburgh town. Which direction from the spawn is it?
you can see a huge dirt wall from spawn, under that is Sulsamburgh town.
this map is looks really amazing. well time for me to spend endless hours exploring this world.
I have the map running on a server if anyone wants to join:
184.187.8.188
Think I have it set to 16 slots, not sure though. It's on an OC3 line so hopefully it won't lag :V:

The city called Cork, is up and running over at Dynamic Shadows! It's up sometimes, but my plan is to have it up 24/7. Im having issues with my internet...
Also profan, is it alright if I use it? Just to be sure... :buddy:
I hope you have a beefy server because the i7-920 I had it on was crippled by the map. The server would use 100% CPU time while the map was running, and players used tons of bandwidth downloading all of the chunks.
You could bring the usage down a bit if you disabled minecart mania, but it's still pretty bad.
Profan runs it on an i5-950 and we didn't get any lag on there! It may be because of his ramdisk thing...
My server is overclocked 200 MHz faster than his, a RAM Disk isn't going to help a CPU usage problem. All of the glitched minecart boosters and the fires from the lightning are going to murder whatever server it's put on.

probably because there weren't raging fires everywhere and glitched minecarts that made MC mania destroy the CPU?
probably because there weren't raging fires everywhere and glitched minecarts that made MC mania destroy the CPU?
yeah probably
bohb are you still running the map?

That's odd, it didn't take up nearly that much for me, and the minecart boosters glitched because you used autocart you silly fool, of course it lags like fuck, there would be hundreds of carts constantly moving.

Not alright for a permanent map.
