Xsyon: Prelude (The Wurm Online + Darkfall + Mortal Online + Real World MMO) - Games

Looks awesome to me, all the aspects I loved about Wurm with nicer visuals. The one question I've got, I don't know if you've had any experience with it Telepethi, but I saw in one video you could make streams and rivers. Is it dynamic water? Or do they handle it like Wurm and just have a set water table and if you lower the ground enough you hit it?

I wanna make like a giant donut shaped lake in the middle of a river, put a city on the island and then like have waterfalls going off all around it. Or Sil, villages 2 and 3 just go upstream and kick village 1's ass, then tear down the dam.

Been following this game for a little bit, played darkfall and wurm competatively (highest level) and will probably try this + mortal out.

He wants to mold it in the form that those who will be P2Ping want. He has mentioned they will work on a free trial at some point during the summer. P.S. Why is my default a dogs butt...lol >_<

Make free accounts have no power at all and give them a very limited day trial so they could actually demo the game. Or go the darkfall way, 1 euro for an account. I'm not willing to spend my money on a game I know nothing about, what if I'm not interested after I get to play the game? Edit: Which is quite stupid, if I had a free account and then said I would want these or these changes so I WOULD play then your whole argument is void.

it's not an argument, it's the truth. Imagine you create a game based on the opinions of 5 thousand people and then all of a sudden they leave the game because they don't want to have to P2P. Now you have people coming in that are willing but they take one look at everything that was changed and they leave. Also it cuts down on the amount of whiners saying well this isn't done and that isn't done and this needs to be changed and that needs to be changed. With a controlled release like it currently is a lot more progress can be made.

It's not the truth, it's not a fact. It's just a way the developers prefer to develop, and I don't agree with that seeing as how they lose a lot of potential. Edit: What you're doing right now is kind of cocky and arrogant, speaking for the devs like that. Your whole point is moot about 5 thousand people who stop playing, because 3-day trials dont decide the game.

This game sounds good,but I don't got the cash to order this game, and not willing to try this out until I get a free trail or some short of demo to test this... I won't kinda like this much due to the Full PvP Looting that attacts assholes and dickheads to kill you over and over again and lossing everything...
