Deus Ex Megathread: "Now everyone will see why I needed a skull-gun". - Games

I really like this game, but the lining up the shots is a real put off for me. I get that you can't go running around all call of duty everywhere, but crouching and waiting for the target reticle to get small is a pain. Many people told me I should just set all the skills to master to get quick acquisition, but then it just makes the game to easy because all the guns rape until the end of the game. Plus your accuracy is dead on. Is their any mod or anything to make it more invisible war like? Where it takes your skill to be able to shoot? I like invisible war with modified difficulty to make it challenging, but there is no way to get this on the original.

The combat gets way better once you get further into the game. Just finished the game again, got the 'Merge with Helios' ending.

I remember throwing away my GEP gun at one point in the game to make room. Shortly after I got another one and kept it until the end of the game. I also emptied all the weapon mods I could into the pistol, it became more like a rifle near the end of the game.

According to Wikipedia DX2 doesn't follow a specific ending from the first game, but rather follows a combination of all of them.

This game has the best title track in existence. Every time I boot the game up, I just sit and listen all the way through before loading. Does anyone else always use albino JC? He's the coolest.

I always just play as default JC.

I just got this game since it was really cheap and a lot of people say it's one of the best games ever. I installed it, it already came with the latest patch. I also got the DX10 renderer and turned on vsync to make the game run at normal speed. But one problem still remains: the usual Unreal engine 1 mouse acceleration bullshit. Yes, i know you can enable directinput to turn the acceleration off, i already did that. But the problem is, it introduces another issue; the mouse doesn't work at all in the menus. This makes the game unplayable as you can't use medical bots and inventory. Are there any proper fixes out there?

My friend lent me this game, but I'm too lazy to finish it. Rate me dumb

I tried this, I didn't really enjoy it.

I just finished this game last week, and I absolutely loved it. It was a bit slow at first, but it becomes a lot better if you stick with it. I've been trying to play DE2, but I dunno, it just doesn't feel the same. It feels wrong.
