Bah, finished the game for a second time along with finishing the amazing "Nameless" mod (Jesus, I've never seen a mod with so much work put into it), looks like I'll have to wait a few weeks to gain interest to go for another run :(.

I've never played the game but I did buy it when steam had the deal. I was able to play through the tutorial fine but now when I play the story it either runs at 1/4 speed or 4 times speed; any fix?

Goddamn it guys, now I have the familiar urge to reinstall it. :argh:

Thanks to Shifter+Bio Mod, I actually got all 3 weapons you can get at the start in Liberty Island. [sp]Unrealistic mode adds random stuff to NPC inventory. Some dude who was patrolling around with a knife had a freakin' GEP Gun and almost a full stock of ammo on him[/sp]. Its a big deal to me as even though you can find it off like the first guy you drop, I ALWAYS take the cross bow.

I honestly did not like it. I know most people give it a free pass because it's old and HOW DARE YOU DISLIKE THIS GAME LOOK HOW MASSIVE OUR BANDWAGON IS but it wasn't very fun even back when it was released. The gameplay is not very good, the story was clichéd even when it was released, and the level design is horrible. Horrible. [b]Fucking horrible.[/b] It was over-optimistic and I don't really feel like they spent much time perfecting everything. One thing that I actually liked and still do like about it is the graphics; not because of nostalgia or that they're specifically well done (looks no better than Half-Life and it's younger than it) but I like the style. Everything looks like it's part of a set, it's got continuity.

Deus Ex 3 please come out faster.

My second play through on realistic difficulty was easier than my first play through on easy.

Played this game recently and I didn't like it, I don't think ill give it another chance. I really should've played it back in the day, i would definitely have a different opinion
