It was the wisps for me. They were just dicks with there lightning
If I want Andras' Wear, am I better off with Eweca or Monster Summoning?
yesterday, I met a guy who wanted to do some trading alongside me but sadly it was getting late so I couldn't do it. We added each other as friends and today we met up and began commerce After going from Tail to Tir, we met up with a guy messing about in dugald aisle as a wolf, and we asked if he wanted to join us after he helped us during a bandit ambush. Soon after we were two guys carrying handcarts with a guard wolf following us Then sometime later we were heading along Osna Sail when we found another person running commerce being ambushed by bandits. We stopped to help and asked if they wanted to join us, which they did. By the end of it you had the four of us taking our stuff to Belvast then from Belvast to Tara, and boy was it fun. I love the community of this game
What exactly are handcarts and what do they do.
What's the main hub these days? Used to be tir back then but now it's as empty as can be
currently its dunbarton cause the snowball event
What exactly are handcarts and what do they do.
It's part of the commerce system You pick up goods from one town and then transport them to a different town to sell for profit the methods of transport are backpack, handcart, wagon and elephant, with each being able to carry more stuff than the ones before it, and moving faster (except for the elephant, which is faster than a handcart but slower than a wagon) it's pretty fun if you dont mind long walks through the countryside or have someone to talk to - when I'm doing it alone I usually just watch some youtube videos on my second monitor
it was those green goblins that got me 4 hits and im dead
It's two hits for me and my pet. Even with a full armor set. What the heck do you do to get that much defense?
It's two hits for me and my pet. Even with a full armor set. What the heck do you do to get that much defense?
I ran through it on my lvl 62 (cumulative 160/99) pure mage and they only did 8-12 dmg per hit most of the time. Although every once in a while it will hit me for a 50. Here's her stats/equipment at the moment: (the armor is the newbie adventuer's crux armor you get from G1) I don't own any accessories yet, so I don't have a reason to wear clothing instead of armor.
For those newbies struggling to make any cash: The tara ptj is easy and gives Falias fragments, which sell for about 50k each. Just add the person you're meant to deliver the package to and ask to meet them in their homestead.
What's the main hub these days? Used to be tir back then but now it's as empty as can be
Tir can also be pretty populated on channels outside of 1 every so often. Right click their name in your friends list after you've added them.
For those of you that completed the Fighter questline (Rush of Love), who did keane [sp]end up marrying[/sp] at the end? Is it always the same? For me it was [sp]mina[/sp], and now [sp]cecilia[/sp] hangs out in tir chonaill from time to time.

Merry Christmas guys, I might be able to get the Guild up soon. Unless you guys can wait until the 5th of January, and let me spend my Christmas money on myself. :v:
Anyone feel like helping me get mana shield? I'd do it myself but I think I'm still too papery to survive against the stuff I'm going to have to fight, hence why I'm trying to get skills like these. I'm planning on starting G1 after I get it. [editline]e[/editline] Actually, nevermind. I just realized I'd have to tame animals and some other stuff I can't do right now, so it'll probably be a while.
I got a gift card for Newegg, anybody know if Newegg has Karma Koin, or something similar?
I got a gift card for Newegg, anybody know if Newegg has Karma Koin, or something similar?
I'm pretty sure it doesn't carry anything like that, unfortunately.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't carry anything like that, unfortunately.
God dammit.
Sorry, it's 1AM here so I'm off to bed I can do some runs tomorrow if you want
What level are you in commerce and whats your ign?
What level are you in commerce and whats your ign?
I just got back into Mabi with a new character so it's not very high Almost at horse, total level 178, IGN Faelchu
so I was doing my G1 quests and I had to run a Ciar Normal never do it solo as a melee character your asshole will double in size by the end in the boss room my horse took a lethal hit in order to allow me to kill the final metal skeleton truly a brave pet ;_;7
ranged and magic will get blown by it as well unless you spam the fuck out of magnum/firebolt
The problem came from the multi-spawn goblin rooms, since the melee goblins will tear you apart unless you counter them, and the archers would just sit in the corner and knock me down whenever I was trying to counter the other goblins. Had to respawn like 10 times Is there a perfect strategy for purely melee classes?
rush the archers and hope for the best
If you're a fighter, save Charging Strike for when far away archers aggro you Charge is a good alternative gap closer [editline]26th December 2012[/editline] Anyone want to party up for Tir Na Nog in G1?

Had to respawn like 10 times Is there a perfect strategy for purely melee classes?
Starting from scratch I was able to do that exact dungeon at total level 57 (which I got to from 5-6 snowball fights from the level I was, pretty convenient) with rank 8 windmill, rank 9 crit hit, and rank e combat mastery. F in everything else. I used two unupgraded Gladius, with that armor given to you by Aeria earlier in G1. I was able to take a few hits by the normal melee goblins, and could afford a hit or two by archers. I was a bit lucky but a lot of it also came down to windmill timing, i'd often run right up to one or two archers when another goblin would aggro me, and once he'd come within range i'd use windmill and kill them all. When I couldn't do that, I'd bum-rush the archers and use defense, counter, or windmill whenever a goblin would run up to me and hope for the best. For the boss room, I killed the skeletons one by one, by throwing a rock at one and running back to the door on the other side - the skeleton would get stuck around the corner, often with his bow out ready to shoot at you. I just waited until he activated defense, where I'd smash him, or smash, where I'd run up and use normal attacks. Once the skeletons were cleared out I summoned my eagle and just ganged up on the golem, spamming smash and regular attacks until it died, luckily without even being hit.
