i've been playing this game pretty casually for a couple months, it's pretty fun. kind of shocking to see a facepunch thread for such a kawaii desu looking game though
We had a very popular thread for a visual novel about anime crippled girls [editline]9th December 2012[/editline] What timezone does Mabi run on? I still can't delete my Ruari character
Lucky you! Euro Version is now North America Version! Sign up on the American site, download with Steam.
Steam says game aint available in my region. Downloading from the website will work too I presume.
I tried to make steam download it, and it seemed like it did it, but it wasn't showing anywhere except task manager. [editline]9th December 2012[/editline] also didn't have a download button, just a start game button... watdafark.

The game doesn't seem to be very accessible, I have no idea where the hell I'm supposed to go, and I have like 3 quests I can't even do.
IGN is Faelchu in Alexina by the way
-nvm found out my old email and account- hate to keep bothering with questions but will anything have changed since 2009 on my account?
Is this game filled with elitist players? I don't want to find my old account from 4 years ago but then again I hate games with a large community that only cater to their fellow old players and discriminate against new players.
I haven't personally seen a lot of that, the worst of what I see are the community's fashionistas and 12 year olds.
Sup? [t]http://waa.ai/uaN[/t] IGN is Rilliana and I am on Alexina.
I had both characters on EU and US, will I be able to transfer my EU characters to US since EU is closed?
Try verifying the game cache or deleting the folder in your Steam directory
problem is it doesn't show up in my steam games list, there's no folder only the .acf file in the common folder, and I already tried deleting that twice, no effect.

Registry sweep? I honestly have no clue [editline]9th December 2012[/editline] Also Mabi avatar ~holla~
maybe I should just try letting it download, it's downloading something, but it doesn't tell me what it's downloading at all.
Sorry, I don't plan on making a character on Alexina any time soon. If anyone is willing to brave the community on Mari, my people are Homestar, Zharkov and Iribas. With regards to being a Bow user/Javelin user if a Giant, you pretty much HAVE to invest in most of the life skills as respective ranged skills do not add as much attack power boosting dexterity as they should. With that in mind, Weaving and Metallurgy are 2 EXTREMELY annoying skills to level. Weaving as you have no way to 100% guarantee what you make with regards to the "make *quality* *fabric or silk* " part of training. Metallurgy starts out with only Iron Ore Fragments and Gems counting towards experience. You can find many kinds of ore fragments regardless of level. Its super annoying to comb the beach for an hour and have only gained 3% metallurgy experience as you found like 3 iron ore frags and like 60 copper frags that are not worth experience yet
I can't seem to find any way to transfer my characters from the now dead EU version of the game. Oh well, time to start over I guess. [editline]9th December 2012[/editline] And the steam version didn't seem to work for me either, so I just downloaded it from their site.
The game should be stored in common, from there you can launch it from nxsteam.exe, hopefully they'll fix it soon. Saves you the trouble of having that Pando Media Booster stuff installed on your PC.
I had both characters on EU and US, will I be able to transfer my EU characters to US since EU is closed?
Nope, you gotta start over.
IGN list updated. Also it says my graphics card isn't supported, but it plays flawlessly. :v:
Agh, I lost my free Throughbred because I deleted my Ruari character At least I still have the free Eagle
IGN list updated. Also it says my graphics card isn't supported, but it plays flawlessly. :v:
Lies, your shadows don't properly render in most areas.
Lies, your shadows don't properly render in most areas.
That only happens in Emain and it always has on the three different computers I've played this game on. :l
That only happens in Emain and it always has on the three different computers I've played this game on. :l
It happens in more places then that! Edited: Fuck, apparently not. Edited: Aha, they DO float in Iria.
It happens in more places then that!
Uh, no it doesn't... I have no clue what you're talking about with these other places, it's never happened anywhere but Emain.
Ahaha the fighter skill questline is a dating sim That's amazing
God damn range, why do I keep missing at 80%?!
I have that same problem with one of my elves. It's really annoying.
I just started out on Alexina, and I found the game's system, especially the character development very in depth, moreso than most other MMOs, or even single player RPGs. The graphics are also good for its age. Only issue I have so far is that this quest of mine requires a three-player party, and the first town is pretty much deserted except for some people who travel around pulling carts to trade. I may need a good guild here. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/xTbLN.jpg[/img_thumb] The community is from what I've seen so far, pretty good. There was this catgirl elf who traveled around with me when I started out, playing music everywhere, but eventually had to get off I died from a coyote in the first quest, not expecting that it could damage me that much, then this knight guy dismounted to revive me. "Eh, just a normal day upholding the values of knighthood". I sent him a heart sticker for that :V [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/60Rmh.jpg[/img_thumb] For now, I'm completing the main quest, then I'm gonna get the awesome looking dual wielding 'final hit' skill. I don't get why people dislike this game. It's like an awesome sandbox MMO if you look beyond the clunky aged animations and stuff. And what's so bad about colourful anime graphics? As opposed to what? The ~so real~ grimdark graphics of most western MMORPGs right now? I believe that the only thing holding it back is the lack of population. [editline] [/editline] Apparently, you can also ride on hot air balloons and engage in combat against stuff like wyverns in the sky.
That quest doesn't really require a 3-player party, the ingame quest information is outdated. Also, if you need information on anything, you should check the wiki.
Does this involve a lot of grinding? Seems interesting but must F2PMMO lose my interest if takes ages to reach a new level or to progress in the story :v:

It got pretty grindy on certain skills. (Windmill being the worse for a Melee) and at other times, not really. I don't know how it is now, i haven't really bothered with the NA server. It gets scary how quick you can die in this, makes a change from all the other MMO's where you can tank everything like a champ.
