At least on Mari, channel 7 is the shopping channel. As such, there are usually a shit load of people and therefore a shitload of lag, even if you aren't near a town.

Supposedly Gen 17 Season 4(the next major update we will be receiving at a currently unknown time) or Gen 18 they change it to allow multiple clients from the same computer. Or at least they did for Korea Mabi.

And I just figured out you can use premium features for free, and even rebirth with them for free.

As a human character, would it make sense to have a bow ego? My plan late-game was to use dual 222 broadswords since they're cheap and I won't have to dedicate a whole lot to my main source of damage. I heard broadswords made bad egos anyway, and I'd like to have a matching set of swords.

Right now I think it'd be pretty nifty since, being a bow, I could totally neglect it if I don't need it, and since I'll only have to wield it just as I'm about to use it, I won't have to worry about pampering it as much.

I probably won't even be able to have a bow unless it's an ego anyway, since I'm not really willing to dedicate space in my bank/inventory for it.

The first character you make can apparently use any hair/eye/color option, even if it says its premium only. It has allegedly been like that since they discontinued the normal non themed Premium character card in favor of the Beauty Shop. It MAY be the same if you make a character via a purchased character card. I know for a fact you can't do that with the Elf or Giant assistant cards.

Well, I figured out how to disable the GUI. It's bound to a broken key by default, so you have to reassign it.

Go to options->game->hotkey settings,
change "Open/Close Interface" to your [\] key (backslash)

Press that key to toggle it on and off.

I just went into an 'elite wiz' mission with the Kyoutou puppeteer band to learn puppet skill combinations and such(I was practically there to stand by and hold phoenix feathers since I can't do any decent damage yet), and basically just to have fun. :V

It started out alright, as low as 'alright' goes. Nich used his Pierrot while Narrow had a colossus on, while Arashi used his Dark Knight trans along with Demigod. Lama was the healer, and I, of course, was the feather mule.

Then it started to get rough.

After a few rooms, we ran out of Feathers, Marionette Repair Kits, and other supplies.

We realized we had no chance of finishing the mission, and that we wouldn't survive another wave of mobs so we took turns holding this guy in until he died to get our time's worth :U

Just how do you increase your damage in the game? People say that levels don't really matter but the difference in combat power is massive. Is it through:

A.) Equipment/Enchants

B.) Stats/Levels

C.) Skills(and stats gained from them)

It really depends on what "class" you are, what skill you're trying to use, and the rank of a lot of your skills. I'll use my mage & [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Firebolt]firebolt[/url] as a semi-advanced example. Although other "classes" are a little different, mages are the ones I know the most about and this should give you a good headstart on figuring out how to increase the damage of other classes.

Rank F firebolt does 7-25 damage without any modifiers.
Rank 1 firebolt does 60-120 damage without any modifiers.
(For the remainder of this example, i will use Rank1 firebolt as the base)

Now, how do we increase this damage even further?

If you equip a [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Phoenix_Fire_Wand]pheonix fire wand[/url], you gain around +33% more damage per fire attack. You also gain +200 range while you have a wand equipped (bringing the range up to 1400).
Meanwhile a [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Trinity_Staff]trinity staff[/url] will give you a maximum of i about +45% damage if you only use fire skills constantly, but you don't have an increased range, and your damage bonus will go away if you cast any other spells.

Another way to increase your damage would be to raise your [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Magic_balance#Magic_Balance]magic balance[/url]. Once you have 230-290+ int, you will hit your maximum damage every single time.

In addition, every 20 int you have adds 1% to your [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Magic_Attack#Magic_Attack]magic damage[/url] (and magic defense).
At rank1 [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Bolt_mastery]bolt mastery[/url], you gain +15% bonus damage.
At rank1 [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Fire_Mastery]fire mastery[/url], you gain +10% bonus damage.

The formula for calculating magic attack damage is the following: (taken from wiki)
(Base + (Damage_Enchant_Bonus * Spell Constant)) * (1 + Magic_Attack / 100) * (1 + Other Bonus).

So let's assume that you have 240 int with rank 1 in: firebolt, bolt mastery, fire mastery, and magic mastery.
The formula would look like this if you have a phoenix fire wand equipped:
(120 + (1 * .38)) * (1+ 12/100) * (1 + .58)
(i think the phoenix fire wand bonus goes into the other bonus category, and not damage enchant)

For every charge of firebolt you have, you will do ~213 damage. Because of how firebolt works, if you have all 5 charges you will have 6.5x damage, instead of 5x damage.
This means at 5 charges you will do ~1384 damage.

If you want to increase your firebolt damage [I]even further[/I], you have a few options:
• Enchant all of your gear to with [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Magic_Attack_Modifiers]magic-attack[/url] or [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Int_Modifiers]int[/url] related enchants
• Increase your [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Critical#Critical]critical chance[/url] to at least 33% (anything higher than that is wasted)
• Upgrade your phoenix fire wand [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Special_Upgrade]as far as it will go[/url]
--• Or turn it into a [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Spirit_Weapon]spirit weapon[/url]
• Get lodes of int (whatever way you can) which can be done by
--• Increasing all of the other magic related skills to rank 1
--• Check out the [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Age#Character_Growth]character growth[/url] page to see the best age to level up at
------• for example, the best age to level up for an elf mage would be 14.
• Equip the [url=http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Hebona_Set]Hebona set[/url] for somewhere around 10-15% added firebolt damage

I should note that, assuming you're a human who leveled all the way from 1 to 100 while you were age 21, you only get ~5% more magic attack. I wouldn't worry about levels too much unless you [i]really[/i] care about a little bit more damage.

tl;dr the answer to your question is yes
