It might if you use their fancy downloader, but the website gives you the option to directly download it as well.
The launcher/updater does not utilize it though, thankfully.

I should also note that you can use any version of mabinogi without ever visiting nexon's website to launch the game. It also works with every other nexon game, but that's largely irrelevant.
Just navigate to where it was installed (steam version is [program files/steam/steamapps/common/mabinogi/]).
Find "mabinogi.exe", make a shortcut of it, or pin it to the start menu, and you'll open up the launcher every time you execute that.
This way you will go into "legacy mode", where you'll be able to log in/out of any account at leisure without ever leaving the game. The downside is that it will create a shortcut to nexon's website on the desktop every time you click on "mabinogi.exe" if it doesn't already exist. I still don't know of a way to stop it from creating a shortcut yet.
Date's been moved to tomorrow, however it's 100% certain that I will be getting dropped off at Rite-Aid for the NX Card. (I might want to buy two... Just in case.)

It was mostly a joke, as I still have at least 800,000.
But it loses durability at an insane rate, gains proficiency incredibly slowly, and if you want to keep it's durability at maximum you need to spend 1,000g per point. And once you upgrade it to maximum, it will then cost 6,868g per point.

DING DONG Facepunch Guild.
Long story short, ryo ohki, jund, and I ran through albey green dungeon multiple times. We then completed the black orb for both Jund and Ryo, but ryo had to leave so we died when we attempted it for me.
Now I'm running green gem on my own in order to get another black orb. :v:
I also thought i had figured out the orbs in the dungeons, you know the ones you need to hit to open the doors. Except it only worked like half of the time while we were in the dungeons, so it was mostly coincidental. I thought I figured out [I]yet another[/I] way of determining it, but that turned out to be a bust as well. I'm thinking of a third way to deduce it, but for now I have nothing.

Actually I'm not sure, someone in the snowball event told me that you can get it back out without paying.

yeaaa, that's more or less why I asked you when yours expired. I thought i mentioned the lockout thing back then, but maybe i didn't. Hell, maybe I just assumed that zeriga told you.
Oh well. I think it costs like $2 worth of NX to buy another fashion slot with pons. (12 pons, 1200NX)
Zeriga told me how to get it out.
Just had to drop the stuff in a secure place away from everyone else and pick it back up.

It happens to me pretty much every 10 minutes when I run mabinogi in a virtualized windowsXP. It says my graphics card is out of date when I use it, so I assume it's very similar to your problem.

Do you legit need a base herb? Because there's a ton of patches directly south of dunbarton; head until you reach the forest south of dunbarton, the area that looks like a 2D mountain on the map. There are also a few west of tracy in dugald isle.

There was none in Dunbarton, so I went to Ciar and grabbed some.
Welp. No Mabinogi for 4 hours or so.
Ugh... Oh well.
