Did you warm it up and play music?
Yeah I did. They were two finest box. I too managed to get a nimbus, fast ground and flying speed and a sweet as hell buff on summon? Don't mind if I do
I named mine Pyrocumulus after painstakingly trying every other cloud name I could find on wikipedia
Did you warm it up and play music? [editline]19th January 2013[/editline] holy hell this thing is fast [editline]19th January 2013[/editline] It sucks that the best eyes are partner only devcat pls
Damn, I want one of those. By the way, isn't the nimbus basically in every game with pets?
I called mine nefos, greek for cloud. I'm so intelligent. So far I don't think I've used a single potion or bandage ever since I got the nimbus, and it pretty much turns you into a healer for the whole party
I thought of naming mine something cool but they were all taken
any advice for dealing with those sheep wolves that sit on osna sail? due to their huge aggro range and damage it's messing up my commerce routes (usually go bangor -> belvast -> emain via osna sail, short and easy)
Advice for commercing through osna sail? Don't do commerce through osna sail. The short road is definitely tempting but as you can see it's offset by the fact it's extremely dangerous to traverse
At least at the moment, the bandits are at a level where they aren't a problem to deal with, so my only real problem are sheep wolves, who spawn only every so often
At least at the moment, the bandits are at a level where they aren't a problem to deal with, so my only real problem are sheep wolves, who spawn only every so often
bandit difficulty is based off the total value of the goods you are transporting. I can't remember the exact values, but the lower tiers look something like this: <2,500? is 1 newbie imp <20,000? rookie <100,000? trained And bosses can rarely spawn. But I really don't recommend going through osna sail at all. You can't avoid bandits, and the wolves will all aggro you if you have to fight the bandits. I can easily kill every wolf no problem, but when you mix in bandits there's too much aggro to do anything about it. I rarely ever fight bandits while i'm commercing; it's easy to avoid them. I always go in-between Port Cobh and Taillteann. If I get a special deal i'll head down to bangor instead though.
I run into trained bandits now, who all have low enough health for one smash + assault slash combo. Hardened bandits are a different matter, which I rain into trying to go from Tara to Bangor. Not fun. Though if worst comes to worst for me I usually transform into a paladin and pray I get the passive defense I need.
Oh man, I found what the snake event is good for beside weapon proficiency Finest shadow crystal = 1.38m exp
I still haven't done the snake event yet What's the min level requirement and difficulty?
There is no level requirement and when it comes to difficulty, so long as you at least have some average to strong people in your party you're going to make it. Mostly you want strong people because otherwise the mission is going to take forever, the bigger mobs are damage sponges but they're not too much of a threat

It doesn't matter at all really, it's set up in a way that you can be useful your own way no matter your level, I did it a couple of time with a brand new character and I was still being relatively useful. Just go to ch1 and join a full team and unless you're extremely unlucky and get a team full of new players you'll have no problems finishing it and if you're an elf archer with mirage missile, congratulations, you have your work cut out for you

Tailteann to Dunbar/Cobh and back seems to be making me a lot of ducats Almost got a horse cart for my commerce expeditions Heat crystals worth 6 apiece for four hundred, yet they sell for a 10 ducat profit to dunbar and Cobh Plus, it costing so little means the only bandits you'll face are rookie ones, who are worthless.
Might just be me but prices seem to actually shift in the long run, I feel I don't make as much money as I used to in my old runs. Merchant rating does help though, so if you stick to one route it'll likely get you more money than other routes I've finally found what weapons I want to use: motherfucking dual daggers. 7(?) hits and 58% crit chance, not even modified yet. Repair is dirt cheap too

Though it takes a while to get your merchant level high enough, I've found running Lead from Bangor to Tara/sometimes Tail to be decent overall. You can only hold like 58 lead on a Pack Elephant, but its value is enough that you shouldn't encounter anything tougher than Trained Bandits until you actually get to Tara. Once there, it usually sells back for a decent sum. Best I've gotten was 168k Exp and I forget how many ducats. The downsides are that you need a high Bangor merchant level, as well as the fact that Lead is Bangor's low quantity item.
Tail/Dun isn't great because Dun's items are worthless [editline]26th January 2013[/editline] Tail/Tara best route The map in between has no natural enemies and is extremely short It's basically impossible to run into bandits because they can't spawn in a way that blocks the narrow roads
Thats why if I do go from Tail to Dun I then quickly hop over to Cobh where the items are worth a little bit more
i've always done tail->cobh, as i've said before. I get a 6000+ ducat profit in both directions usually. here's one of my screenshots from very long ago: [t]http://i.imgur.com/ORkH7xe.jpg[/t] Although in the long run, you'll either want tara or dunbarton to be at the highest merchant rating. The +3% ducat bonus from the rating, plus the +15% bonus from rank1 merchant, means an extreme profit if you start carrying the very expensive stuff. Although that means you'll have to be very wary of not aggroing any bandits.
I haven't done commerce in a while but I remember I had a route which gave me over 9k a trip, I think it was bangor-tara
Two generations down, 11 to go
I haven't done commerce in a while but I remember I had a route which gave me over 9k a trip, I think it was bangor-tara
bangor-> tara is ~6 zones you have to walk through for 9k+ taillteann->cobh is ~3.5 zones for 6.5k time-wise that seems less efficient
Ah, it doesn't matter anyway The less money you guys make, the more I make
Two generations down, 11 to go
Still have to beat g1. am jelly.
bangor-> tara is ~6 zones you have to walk through for 9k+ taillteann->cobh is ~3.5 zones for 6.5k time-wise that seems less efficient
I don't think i've ever done tail-cobh actually. I always ignored cobh for the most part Has anyone else been getting some nasty lag spikes lately? I thought it was my connection first but it doesn't happen with other games and I've even tried with another connection. The game hangs for about 5 seconds every few minutes, it's pretty annoying
Can't play Mabinogi as of recently because it keeps wanting to verify, and failing to do so. And if I try to launch it manually it just says that it's waiting on a Patch. Lovely... First Steam trying to Verify everything everytime I reboot. Then PAC3 on Gmod not downloading the Custom Model Cache. And now Mabinogi. Fml. Also Commerce is good between Tir and just about anywhere else. Those Potions are high quantity and less cost per item. Makes a decent profit if you're looking for speed.

Pretty sure it's being caused by the snake event too, I don't think I'm going to miss it very much when it's gone.
