Mabinogi Megathread v1 - Look past the "Kawaii Desu" - Games

Especially during event weekends.

Oh man, i'm like a master of part-time jobs now. I can do every single part-time job in dunbarton in a single day. That means every in-game day I get ~3-6K gold, 8 holy water, 2 seeds, and some decent experience in skills/level. Skills needed beforehand: Weaving - Rank F+ Tailoring - Rank F+ Materials needed to do it: - 10x wool (manus) - 30x eggs (manus and kristell) - 10x berries (manus and glenis) - 10x potatoes (kristell) (not used very often) - 3x apples (kristell) - Tailoring kit (simon) - Sharp object for gathering wool (sword? gathering knife?) - Weeding Hoe (for potatoes, if you care about those) - 1 Empty "weapon set", for equipping the tailoring kit, or gathering eggs - small or large coin purse - An empty inventory, excluding the items above. This is my general cycle: 6AM -> receive quest from healer's house (Manus) 6AM-9AM -> Rest or continue to gather materials 9AM -> Turn in healer's house (Manus) 9AM-1PM -> Complete both General Shop (Walter) and Clothes Shop (Simon) 1PM -> receive quest from Grocery Shop (Glenis) 2PM -> Turn in Grocery shop (Glenis), receive quest from Town Office (Eavan) 3PM -> Turn in Town Office (Eavan), receive quest from Bookstore (Aeira) 4PM -> Turn in Bookstore (Aeira), receive quest from Church (Kristell) 5pm -> Turn in Church (Kristell), receive quest from Library(Stewart) 7pm -> Turn in library (Stewart), receive quest from Weapon Shop (Nerys) 8pm -> Turn in Weapon Shop (Nerys) 8pm-6am -> re-gather the materials used in this cycle Sometimes it'll mix it up and won't use any materials; other times it'll use nearly all of them. The 6AM time for manus is there in case he asks me to milk some cows for him, which takes a while. If glenis asks for milk, you're screwed; at that point you just skip Eavan.

So I tried playing using a controller, but every time I try to launch the game in conjunction with JoyToKey the game crashes and accuses me of hacking. Anyone else actually get a controller to work?

I can't play the game at all. Hackshield is shit.

Unless you have a controller that is capable of built in emulation of a keyboard. (Minus the chat spamming bots.)

Take screenshots of before and after with Mabinogi's built in screenshots. Or a recording. It won't hurt any, plus you can supply a ticket if it does happen to change your character.

getting through g12 before shamala comes the shadow missions are soooo long and it's the same thing over and over again, just go to tara castle and go through all the rooms like 10 times in a row g9 and g10 felt balanced, like you did a mix of dungeons/shadow missions. in g11 and g12 they shower you with shadow missions, sometimes making you protect retarded ai ugh
