Mabinogi Megathread v1 - Look past the "Kawaii Desu" - Games

god this fucking game i played this shit since beta, i have a beta title and that shitty texan hat you cant trade it sucked like, $200 from me, got like so many pets and shit, got married to a friend girl of mine that played with me she still plays it and i dont, and she has like literally 40 something pets now that girls crazy [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] i stopped after i finished romeo and juliet and gave up the paladin and final hit quest, shit got repetitive and hard

How do you guys manage to keep yourselves from not quitting? I remember creating a few accounts before ultimately getting bored. I love the game itself, it's just I can't seem to concentrate after a while. Is the trick playing with a friend? The times I've tried it I was alone because my friends were more interested in WoW or Guild Wars.

Mabinogi is a social game. Without friends or a guild, it's boring as fuck. Also, having too many characters, is a bad thing. (Unless they're mules, or some shit.)

i dont get the tailoring job do you need a skill to do it?

Ok, so I bought some Eweca orbs (because i'm DUMB) and got a Full White Terra Gothic suit. Hooray! Shame I'm a female character. But I also got some outfits for females and I absolutely love one of the ones that I got.

I'm stuck in a guild because it expired and the leader hasn't touched the game in 15 weeks, and Nexon has the slowest customer support ever, as usual.

Made a couple of friends when I asked them the value of some items I happened across by killing Ancients (3cm Diamond, 1cm Diamond, 10cm Aquamarine, Thames Plate Gauntlets), and did commerce with one of them. The commerce was hard as hell since his kept spawning veterans and they killed me :v: But I ended up with a 900 Ducat profit, so whatever. All in all, a good session of Mabinogi.

Where do I find this online guild manager?

way back in mabi EU, I was one of the few chefs on my server (I played on the smaller of the two and we could literally fit the entire beta community into tir chonaill). Is it still worth being a chef or not? I know they give bonuses but is it worth levelling? Particularly because lag is unkind for me being in europe and do people still gather round campfires for reasons besides being in a guild together? I miss those times way back from beta when we would just sit round a campfire tell jokes and the guy with the lute would play the super mario bros theme or something.

my current guild is pretty sweet, we kick back and do nothing in game but we talk about all sorts of subjects. been in it for nearly a year so far but the previous guilds ive been in were filled with either A) low level leechers that only typed in chat when they needed help with something, B) nonactives or C) people who kept a social hierarchy in the guild, so there was always a handful of people out of the loop of something needless to say i left said guilds days after

i think i will join this game once i get my new computer. even though this one is good enough i just dont really want to download anything else because im getting a new one next week
