But you are missing the point entirely. [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] Not to say the price isn't ridiculous, it is.

So we're in the middle of a recession. That'll last for at least another year. Electronics stores are going bust. Those that aren't are on the breadline. Spending is down. And they bring it out at THIS price? Why the fuck wouldn't you just buy a console instead? Or four. With lots and lots of games. Razer, you're IDIOTS.
I'm not missing any points here, just wanted to find out how much you could get for $2800.
It's that price because of the portability. [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] and all the LED's
Like their other products; overpriced, overhyped and gimmicky. Pick one up in 1-3 years if they actually end up being okay for a lower price unless they take the "Activision standpoint" on pricing.
And I thought a Macbook Air was the most grossly overpriced cheap piece of hipster shit i'd ever seen.
And I thought a Macbook Air was the most grossly overpriced cheap piece of hipster shit i'd ever seen.
How in the fuck is it cheap?
How in the fuck is it cheap?
Cheaply built, then marked up to extreme prices?
Razer is like the Apple of gaming products.
This is quite sad. For shits and giggles, I checked out Alienware's site and customized a gaming laptop with the following: Core i7-2560M 2.8 GHz. 16GB RAM Nvidia GTX 580M 600GB HDD. $2706. Razer, if Alienware is undercutting you by $100 with much better hardware, you are SERIOUSLY doing something wrong.
it's made by an American company, therefore it's much better and worth the exorbitant price
they don't have apples retarded fanbase so nobody's going to buy it at that price dumb fucks

This is more gimmicky than the Wii, Kinect, Move, Macbook, and Smellovision COMBINED YES GIMMICKIER THAN SMELLOVISION.

I'm very curious about this.
I mean, $1000 dollar keyboards AND this? [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] Razer employee's were trippin' on some LSD while they were thinking of a pricetag.
OH FUCKING C'MON! I THOUGHT THIS WAS GONNA BE A CRAZY AWESOME BUDGET-PC! ;-; Damn it all to hell.

At least they make good gaming mice.

Conveniently broke after the warranty. I've since bought a Logitech G400, no problems so far.
I really wanted that SWTOR keyboard but $200 (rumored) is too much for me.
Razor couldn't find a manufacturing partner that would accept their designs. So instead they opted to buy an entire ODM in Taiwan. That's how much confidence they had in this. They, are, fucked.
I'll listen to paul simon
