It's 34 seconds. I know what I must do.
Get past the Brain Scorcher by spamming medkits and making your way to the CNPP? EDIT: Ninja'd. [editline]13th July 2011[/editline]
No, replace Paravin since he's apparently done.
Nope.
Nope.
Yes...
Yes...
Fine. Write a story, and give it to us when we reach page 34. We'll tell you whether or not you can continue.
Be sure to add burer in it.
Hunt down every member of that squad of bandits, and murder them all.
*Whole faction.
You know next time I start a new game in TFW I want to join Bandits. Seems challenging and Bandits need some love too.
My bandit playthrough wasn't any harder than my Clear Sky playthrough. It was probably easier because it wasn't in the Swamps.
Kind of stuck on the quest to get Strider into Freedom in CoP. I've done all I can find to make Freedom friendly with me, from helping Uncle Yar to giving them Morgan's PDA and helping them take the armory. I've given them the Duty General's PDA as well, but Loki still won't let them join Freedom.
Adding on to this, even the Duty leader will allow me to recruit them despite me having done nothing for his faction other than fire at them.
I want to get the first STALKER but I have a couple questions. How is it in terms of customization both in the in-game sense and the modding sense? Is there an RPG perk type system or is it just mainly an FPS? And can I mod it if I buy it via steam? Second, can I even run it with CPU is an AMD Athlon II at a miserable 2.1 GHz.
Fucking CoP. It's never liked mods with me. I've tried CoP Complete and I Work Alone (both on a fresh install) and they both do the same thing. They both take a moment to get to the loading screen, and then when they get there, they load, and then nothing happens. When I ctrl alt delete, it shows that STALKER has crashed. SoC works like a dream on my fucking hack job of AMK + Complete 2009.

Yeah any STALKER game will run badly on that. Also, yes it is moderately customisable game wise. As far as the modding sense, that's not even a question.
Fucking CoP. It's never liked mods with me. I've tried CoP Complete and I Work Alone (both on a fresh install).
Maybe you should try a real mod like Redux or SGM next time

Sometimes i hate Shoc, It randomly deletes my saved games.
You might be able to play it on low settings/DX8 but I am unsure as to the amount of stability the game will have with only 2GB of RAM.
I have 2gb ram and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is stable enough.
For some reason, STALKER will randomly lag for no apparent reason. It gets real annoying in fire fights. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Sounds like the normal stuttering you get in certain big maps while it loads shit into memory
Why, unlike all other games I play, do I get physically drained from SHoC, and need to plan ahead when I'm going to play it? Is this somewhat normal for when you first play, or am I just weird?
For some reason, STALKER will randomly lag for no apparent reason. It gets real annoying in fire fights. Does anyone know how to fix this?
How much RAM do you have.
How Eastern Europeans go home from their country house - by getting on a fucking bike and pedalling 70 kilometres on a traffic filled highway. Such is life in Latvia! Wish me luck, brothers.
Good cycling, stalker
How Eastern Europeans go home from their country house - by getting on a fucking bike and pedalling 70 kilometres on a traffic filled highway. Such is life in Latvia! It is too dangerous alone, take this:
How much RAM do you have.
Almost 2 gigs.
Almost 2 gigs.
Then that is just stuttering due to the game having to juggle data between your RAM and your swap file on your hard drive.
Maybe he stutters because of prefetching?
How does that makes sense prefetching is loading the material as the level is loading so you don't have to load anything while you're playing that's why -noprefetch disables it and while it shortens load times it increases stutter on worse computers

I guess he could try enabling prefetching again and see if it works better.
Maybe he hadn't even taken it off from the start.
