This game is so much fun but my GPU hates me and rapes me with bsod :( also, pripyat is creepy as fuck at night. i'm constantly expecting anything to pop right up in my face and kill me

I just reinstalled COP and im looking to install some mods for the first time. What would you guys suggest for someone who would like more gameplay elements added in. Like new quests, guns, and hopefully more areas to explore.

ludd told me about a wounded stalker in dark valley being bait for a bloodsucker the bloodsucker wasnt there last time if he even is in vanilla but i just tried again why do bloodsuckers take so many shots from an obokan and why is healing yourself based on your energy why would you do this

Looks good in screenshots.

Is it possible to join a faction in LURK? Lukash acts like I have the choice to when I ask for a bed, but I can't find a way to do it.

I've been replaying the whole series just to see the different faction missions, explore even more and the like. In Clear Sky, and I give up. The bastard keeps crashing in the Agropombombompombompombompom, and I seriously can't be arsed. I know not that much has changed from here on and the options aren't that wildly different from this point on. Call of Pripyat is my favourite anyway.

I never finished ShoC actually. All I remember was manly going into some powerplant during an emission to save a fellow stalker. Turns out blowouts kill you and i ended up there with a broken save since I died during the loading screen :v: I was a young and fresh Stalker :v:

Anybody know what could be causing the constant stuttering in my CoP? Happens in any save, or even a new game entirely. Messed around with the settings but nothing seems to stop it. Help D:

Try to start it in windowed mode. I had something similar with RF:G.

Check the hard drive activity LED when the stuttering occurs.

It goes absolutely crazy when there's a lockup, constantly lit. What can I do to fix it?
