One of the first released versions of LURK, to be exact.
My god, maybe I'll be able to occasionally host "stable" Stalker multiplayer games with this build.
I remember the first time I played through SoC I had 1gb of ram. Now I have 2gb but fuck I wish I wasn't so shit broke.
First time I played SoC I had 2GB and a Pentium 4 @ 2.4 ghz or something along those lines.
Sounds like what I had On SGM for CoP I swear to god there are mines layed everywhere! I've randomly blown up about 5 times so far.
You should probably go in the SGM options and disable those.
To that post earlier in the thread about women turning into vodka: I think there's no women in the zone because the manliness associated with the experience is so strong, when they enter the area their ovaries fall out and a dick springs forth, and their boobs get smaller and harden into pecks. Their long hair falls out, so many bald stalkers used to be women.

[editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Was getting about 29 fps average on low with 800x600. I had a 128mb Radeon 9800. AGP ftw
I want you all to meet Tolik Gangrene. I shall tell the story of our unexpected meeting and the following emotional rollercoaster that is our relationship. It all started with Fanatic. I had just sold some crap to Sidorovich after getting out of the hellhole that is X-18, and I was on my way to Duty Territory to give the Barkeep his precious documents, when I heard someone call out to me. Apparently there was to be some sort of raid on the Rookie Camp by some Mercenaries and Fanatic wanted me to help. Of course, I accepted and took cover behind a car, giving me a view of the whole group of Mercs. Using my trusty LR-300 I transformed said Mercs into a scattered pile of corpses in a matter of seconds, with the only casualty on our side being a single rookie who was unfortunate enough to be standing in the middle of the entrance to the camp when the attack started. What ever happened to sending the rookies inside for safety, Fanatic? After this, I made a stunning revelation: All but one of the bastards had an LR-300 on him. I did the honorable thing, and all of a sudden everyone in the camp (except Fanatic with his oh so special, um, AK thing) had an LR-300. In my philanthropic glee, I decided to hold off on (read: completely forgot about) the Barkeep and went ahead and did some missions for Sidorovich. One of these missions was to kill a 'sales representative'. This particular sucker was stationed at the camp northeast of the carpark, incidentally one of my favorite scenes to murder people at. I meandered my way through several anomalies and, consequentially, several loading screens and finally crested the hill overlooking the camp. What I saw was rather surprising, to say the least. 4 dead bodies lying around the campfire, with about 7 boars somewhere beyond it. Okay it was actually pretty mundane. Still, this was too interesting a situation to pass up, so I sprinted my way to the campsite, thankfully without any undesirables noticing. Immediately upon my arrival I realized that one of the dead bodies was actually an injured man, who I put off healing due to the fact that those boars I mentioned earlier decided now would be a good time to puncture my asshole. After a minute or two of running around in circles, desperately trying to reload my rather petite Italian shotgun (I don't have time to switch between primary weapons, you see, so I keep this little bastard in my pistol slot) so I could again miss 3 of the 5 shots in one clippy-magazine-jigger (bear with me), I was surrounded by boar carcasses. But I haven't even gotten to the best part yet. You see, as I was fighting the boars I was experiencing a sort of tinting of my vision, rousing my suspicion. Sure enough, there was a Controller loafing about a good 30 feet from the scene of my epic victory. Thankfully, he must have been retarded or something because he just stood there while I fired a completely reasonable amount of bullets into his body. After this exhausting Ragnarok of a fight, I took a look at the guy on the ground. How lucky was I that, out of all these stalkers, the only one to survive what was most likely a boar orgy was the guy I had a mission to kill. However, I had just spent quite a lot of time and ammo killing those mutants, when I could have just shot the fucker from the hill and gotten my money. No way I was killing him now. So I finally got around to fixing him up and I decided I might as well give him something, but I had no extra guns on me at the time. So, I went back the the Rookie Camp, where someone inexplicably started shooting at me with his pistol (remember this guy has an LR-300). I flipped him off and just went down to Sidorovich's cellar and bought an AK-47 or something, how am I supposed to remember. Anyways, after returning to the surface I decided to shoot this guy in his fucking face. This method, I learned after everyone in the camp decided that me defending myself was an offense punishable by execution, was not ideal. So next time I hid behind a house until he rounded a corner and I filled him up. Onto the next paragraph. Then I remembered this guy had an LR-300 on him, meaning I just wasted 9000 Rubles (but I'm filthy rich so whatevs). So I bought some gift wrap and headed off for Tolik's camp. I then proceeded to imagine shooting him in the face several hundred times as I waited for him to finish playing his guitar and talk to me. After about 15 minutes of violent psycho-sexual fantasies, he finally decided I was worth his time, and so I sold him the gun, with some artifacts and a repair kit to boot. Obviously giddy with excitement from my present, he kept his MP5 on his back and resumed ignoring me. I tried this several times. I even bought his MP5 from him, and he thought it would be a great idea to run around in the Zone with nothing but what I could make out to be a NERF pistol. It was at this point I fucked off and wrote this thing. THE END
i've been so fucking lazy at modding so far this summer, it's ridiculous... parties, booze and girls are, unfortunately, more interesting :(
This. But don't worry, mates. Normal work should resume come September. While I won't have half as much free time, I'll have clear goals and that's the most important part.
Yeah, I don't have times for gaaaaaaaaems any more. I mean games are fun, I just like to go to parties and hang out with people.
Such is life, also just sent a job offer to Project Zomboid.
Yeah, I don't have times for gaaaaaaaaems any more. I mean games are fun, I just like to go to parties and hang out with people.
I just set aside a couple of hours during wednesdays to game. Like this past wednesday I spent 4 hours Playing The Stalker Trilogy. I get my weekly stalker fix and I still have time to go out and party. It's a win-win.
Just had a couple hour long session of dicking around in STALKER MP with a friend. STALKER's physics are fun! Especially when you somehow manage to make someone FLY by simply headbutting them.
Augh god fuck everything im reinstalling SHoC FOR THE 4'th TIME let's hope o can finish it this time.
Good day Stalkers! Played ShoC, got to the carpark and started shooting bandits, when suddenly a whole pack of boars just ran straight through the park. Someone stopped and shot a bit at them, but combat resumed shortly after. Managed to wipe all the bandits out without casualties, got the flashdrive and went to complete the quest when the game crashed. Started over and everyone died, got it right on the third try. Oh, and my first "real" death came from a bandit who surprised me (and killed me) directly after equipping a newfound AK-74. Such is the life in the Zone. (P.S I have patched the game now, and everything's going fine now)
Anybody want to arrange a CoP game?
So can someone please help me disable the horrendous screen sway when you get hit in AMK?
I never understood why people think playing stalker in master is almost impossible, I always play in Master/[sp]Wizard![/sp] dificulty, the only time I didnt play in Master was the first time I played the game, I played at [sp]stalker[/sp] dificulty. Seriously, the only thing that changes is the enemies accuracy... wich at master is 50% prob of hit, and even then they miss alot... But at least they aren't Makarov snipers like in LURK. Those guys gave me nightmares. ...and hard-ons.
So can someone please help me disable the horrendous screen sway when you get hit in AMK?
Couldn't you just put cam_inert 0 to the console ?
Doesn't work.
Be a man and snipe enemies from 100 yards away with a suppressed weapon. Then they can't fuck up your camera.
They can since I'm playing on master, and they can head-shot me across a field.

WHy are you quoting yourself

Add me on steam, as long as the ping isn't terrible I'll play for a bit. [editline]5th August 2011[/editline] Directed at you Tinter...
So can someone please help me disable the horrendous screen sway when you get hit in AMK?
cam_inert 0.05
Unfortunately it does not fix the issue. Could it be hard coded in the files?
Remember right before Clear Sky was to come out it got delayed for another week?
That broke my heart.
