Okay, I installed stalker, 1.0004, AMK, the graphics mods dain uses, AMK weather, AMK arsenal in that order but I crash after CLIENT: Synchronizing. My friend says it works for him though, I've reinstalled everything 3 times with no luck.

Go to your game folder and look for a file called xrParticles.dll in the bin folder. Make a copy of it and call it xrParticles2.dll, and bam, motherfucking twice the draw distance. Now for my next trick, if you want more graphics then make a copy of xrRender_R4.dll and call it xrRender_r5.dll! That should enable tesellation and improved anti-aliasing.

Found out that my computer is going to arrive on the 10th, but the bad news is that I won't get internet in my dorm til saturday. Guess I'm going to get a wireless internet card to carry me over until I can get internet. The Zone...it beckons to me.

It is ALL you will EVER need, for both singleplayer and multiplayer. It even has a multiplayer mode with a bunch of new weapons and redone physics.

I'd put it on my FTP if I wasn't on ADSL. Believe me I don't want to use dropbox.
