Dear god. I was walking around the cordon with some music playing in the backround. I see Wolf at the the front of the rookie camp pointing his gun towards the blockade. I think to myself 'No biggie he does this all the time' After about 20 seconds he lowered his gun and started to walk back. When suddenly, out of nowhere, a single bullet hit him in the head. The one where nimble sits around all day been a useless shit. And so I killed every one of the soldiers. I think the only reason we one was because I had come to the rookie camp to sell shit to sid. When you have an exoskeleton, RPG +ammo, Clear Sky armor from Nimble, a G36 +1000 rounds, pistol, shotgun, Lynx and Tide, and a PKM +400 rounds, you really need somewhere to stash shit when you suddenly have to wear SEVA to go through the underground.

I've noticed more than a few times stashes that have been marked on my map are totally empty. Is this meant to happen? Playing SoC vanilla

Try installing Kingo's shaders. I have them and AMK works fine, but I've never tried it with vanilla shaders.
