I just got the Diplomat achievement, gave the General's PDA to Duty, Morgan's PDA to Freedom
Both factions friendly, both willing to recruit Strider's team
Bam, done

Where is Morgan's PDA?
I rather befriend one and get it over with rather then do both.
I believe i deleted that for a crash or some problem i had.

Also, question.
In CoP, what can i do if i seriously have everything explored? I have been to every building, and every place besides pripyat, which i have yet to build a team.
Of course i still need to recruit the monolith guys, but i dont know how to gain the trust of either freedom or duty.
WatDo?
I never could get them to accept them in Freedom. I took the supply stash, got them to guard the scientists bunker, gave them Morgan and the General's PDA, info on the Jupiter Plant, etc. I liked the ending I got though, with both sides deciding to leave their faction and become Loners.
Oh god, CoP better not be like SoC where you have like 7 different endings 5 of which suck, and the 2 good ones make no sense.

Off his [sp]dead body after you kill him.[/sp]
It's not like that. You have multiple endings for several characters/groups. For example, Duty can remove Freedom from Yanov station and Freedom can do the same to Duty, depending on who you help. It's very easy to control which endings you get as well.
So someone said how if you already own SoC or CS on steam you can get CoP for a discount. So I checked it out.
The standard price: £12.99
The "loyalty Promo" price: £12.99
What the shit.

Wow really? For me the loyalty promo thing is $14.99 and the standard price is $19.99
Europe gets fucked over by prices.
surely not so fucked over that the discount doesn't actually lower the price?
Unless £12.99 is the discounted price and it's displaying it as the standard as well for some reason.
Maybe try emailing steam support or something? Doubt they would help but worth a try

"The Zone has claimed another life. Press any key to play."
I'm back from my fishing trip guys. I've just finished reading the 1504 posts made in my absense.
What's a good mod for CoP that doesn't change anything graphics wise? And is there anything to make it run better etc.?
Running back and forth from the Freedom base to the Bar is a bitch in SHoC. I just wish I could go faster.
Today me and two my friends travel 200 kilometers by hitchhiking. Wish us luck, brothers!
I just started a second playtrough in SHoC with mods and I remembered something
I had to go in the X labs
Never again

I only really got scared in X18 when I [sp]ran in to the room with the Pseudogiant. Even then it was because I ran in without remembering OH HEY PSEUDOGIANT.[/sp]

I just started getting into stalker today, can anyone explain exactly what an emission is? (I know what it does to you D: but what EXACTLY is it?)

Emissions (also known as blowouts) are waves of gravitational and psychic energy emitted from the center of the Zone. Every major emission causes the Zone to grow a bit.
GSC's official description (poorly translated, but my favorite):
In equal periods blowout waves of gravitational nature together with an increased psychotropic influence pierce the Zone. It is deadly dangerous to stay in the Zone at that time. A man without special equipment dies immediately. The ground starts shaking with a number of flashes to follow. The sky gets glowing and the whole world is black-and-white. The eyes can't withstand the blinding sun. During the blowouts, one can see phantom formations and haze in the places of gravitational formations.

Zone. Lake Amber. Blowout.
Booming earthquake and flashes of lightning. The sky gets covered with black boiling clouds. The stalker hardly makes it for the house and the blowout sets in. Prolonged tremor shakes the house, sprinkles the dust, garbage falling off the shelves. The room is lit up by an extremely bright flare which seems to last forever. The world goes two-coloured. Through the open door the stalker can see a dead dog, lying on the ground. A violent gale hurls the garbage sprinkling clouds of the dust. The toughest moment of the blowout is coming. The earth goes mad, the light is beyond all bearing; flashes of lighting with things trembling on the floor. The stalker hides in the corner of the room covering his eyes. And now is the moment of the blowout peak. The last and the most devastating tremor shatters the ground breaking the trees and making the world go dark for a moment. And then very bright light and howl of the insane Zone make the stalker pass out...
Ahhh, the Oblivion Lost era of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. :allears:
