Was that screenshot taken in Zaton? I could swear it was taken right here:

I don't remember AMK having CoP maps.
Regular AMK doesn't.

Looks a bit like red forest though.
I'd like to throw my hat in and say I like Redux.
It's irritating at times (dogs, I'm looking at you), but in general it's fun. Earlier in the game you have to make genuine choices about whether to buy food or ammo, and use of artifacts is a much more delicate and interesting affair. Armour isn't simply a matter of "exo+sprint upgrades), although it'd be nice to have a more balanced upgrade system (I recognise that this takes a lot of time and effort). It's made CoP worth replaying a third time.
Since I have the opportunity, Thorny:
How complicated and time consuming is adding the misc items to the mods?
Is there any way to start Snag's "Stolen weapon" quest?
So I'm looking forward to WotW and wish you all the best with it.
I can answer those pretty satisfactory.
Snags stolen weapon has been totally deactivated.
Adding items is as complicated as using the editor to alter the all.spawn file to include the items in the world, if that's what you meant.
If you meant as in creating new items, you have to add an icon to the all_icons.dds(or whatever it's called), make a file which describes the item, such as coordinates for the icon in the icon.dds, physical model in the world, monetary worth, etc and finally have a model and texture for it.
What does SGM do exactly?
Adds content on every front.

Thanks, I meant that latter. I was wondering how much effort it'd be for WotW creators to add more misc items if someone were to hypothetically submit pictures and descriptions to them or similar. I like how the items add character to STALKERs, but the impact is lessened somewhat after the tenth or so PDA detailing a monolith fighter's interest in the works of Paravin.

Thanks a lot man. I appreciate your kind words, and I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Regarding your questions:
1: The misc items are a matter of writing the names and descriptions, making icons for them, adding them to an items file (deciding weight, price etc) and making NPCs drop them (a couple more file modifications).
2: Snag's Weapon Mission was actually an oversight from my part, because I totally re-did Nimble's weapon selection I completely forgot to add the new weapons to the file that causes Snag to start that mission :/
Thanks!

We're going to add a ton more misc items to WotW, and descriptions/icons for them are definitely welcome :)

Does it have replayability and will it lag the shit out of my computer?
Does it have replayability and will it lag the shit out of my computer?
Tons and depends on CPU.
The Skadovsk lags a bit(30fps) on an i5@3.7Ghz at max settings and a GTS 250, for reference.
So it's probably going to lag bad for me.

Now's our chance, destroy the SOURCE.
What are some good mods for Shadow of Chernobyl?
What style are you looking for?
Something like you did for Call of Pripyat.
Redux? Ok so realism/difficulty then. Your best bet is LURK 1.1 in that case, but if you can find a working SoC Redux link you'd probably like that. I think it only works on 1.0003 or whatever so you might have to use HispanoPatcher.
installed SGM
running around like a noob , found shiton of artifacts forgot to quick save steped on a mine
20 mins of artifact hunting lost

Have fun.
Can't find a link for 1.02, sorry.

What is the difference between the two?
Also thank you.
Probably bug fixes I guess. Also seems like HispanoPatcher doesn't go back to 1.003? :smith:
