*Buttload of weapons and items
*Bankers(yeah)
*Random Anomalies (can be turned off)
*Hostile Alpha Squads that hunt you (can be turned off)
*Joinable Faction (even the Monolith can be joined)
*Hirable Bodyguards
*Faction Bases
*New quests! Loads of them. Some of them are really great.
*A New Faction

Afterwards you can drag the tushkanos in a nice pile around the giant, take a screenshot and brag about your hunting skills.

I've just started my first run with SGM. While I haven't experienced most of the features yet, the ones that I have are really awesome. The new quests are decent, some of them even great, although some of them are somewhat broken/hard to understand. The alpha squad feature is what made this mod for me. I just love running into a squad of ~6 people armed to the teeth that will do everything to swipe me off the face of the earth. One thing that annoys me is a glitch that almost all the stalkers roaming Zaton (haven't gotten further yet) are bandits and mercs. No loners whatsoever. :( But that may be temporary/change in the next location.
I recommend you try this mod, it's not that bulky, so you won't wast too much time if you dislike it.
ALSO: Today I killed my first Alpha squad. Those bastards were waiting me where I had to meet that duty dude whom I had to give some explosives.
Massive firefighting and several deaths ensued.

What's the point of using the banker other than exchanging e-rubles? Also, how do I join the mercs or monolith?
Also, STALKER 2 needs the ability to start your own faction. It should be incredibly costly and hard, but pay off in the end when you started the next top faction in the Zone.
Maybe I'll check it out soon.

At first I was wondering why there was like 25 stalkers walking like they had downs and I looked at my radar and the dots were red.
Me, knowing STALKER is fucking weird sometimes decided to run for the house with the ladder in it to the broken roof.
Then I heard the stalker moan as he crept in the house, I was all like: :suicide:.
So I creep through the hole in the wall of the attic and fall to the ground, next thing I know I hear moaning behind me,

Then for some odd reason zombies are firing back, what.

i could try to port stalker to source and then proceed to make co-op from there.
the bad part is that i have 0% experiance in moding.
and i cant make a hl2 mp mod since i dont have ep2 or hl2

maybe joining monolith involves that suitcase quest that you get from that dying monolith member you find on the bridge?

I guess I'm just going to have to go through most of the game before joining the Glorious Faction. But how about Mercs? There's a place by the Jupiter Plant where they chill out and have a base of their own, but they won't let me in to chill with them.

Interest, of course.
You gain entry to the Mercenary base if you can acquire one of their suits. And CupUp was correct about the Monolith.
Also, even if you gain entry to the Monolith base, beware. There are 1-3 hostile Monoliths there (you're not allowed to kill them) patrolling near the part of the building where their leader is located.
Be also aware that there's a special requirement before you can join the Monolith. It's actually quite clever one, I must admit.

You couldn't port it to source. Co-op is possible, but even for professional game developers it is really hard to implement it into the games like this.
Okay guys, has anyone of you encountered a "purple sky" glitch in Call of Pripyat ?
Basically sometimes when I sleep or switch areas the sky is all purple and fucked up royally.
I just upgraded my GFX drivers (ATI Radeon HD 5700) but it didn't seem to remove the problem.
It doesn't happen all the time but it's fucking horrifying since I love Call of Pripyat and this messes up my enjoyment so bad.
I'm running Call [I]From[/I] Pripyat mod and installed AtmosFear 2+ATP on top of it if that helps.
I also have a second install of CoP running Swartz mod which uses AtmosFear 3. Could this have anything to do with it?

I have two installs of CoP and they have different mods. I juggle them because I want to enjoy the craziness of M.S.O and Swartz mod while having a more "traditional" playthrough going on at the same time.
