Last question for now before I head out into the Zone. Is lab X-19 worse than Agroprom underground, X-16 and X-18 combined?

Oh fuck. Stalker just crashed. It threw me error that pixel shader 1.1 is needed. I think my graphics card is dying. Also, the X-19 is suspiciously empty, I only met 3 bloodsuckers. And they met my shotgun.

I'm on a shitty cheap netbook that has problems when I open five tabs in chrome and MSN at once but I want to go Stalking :saddowns:

This is what I love about stalker, the game world feels like it's alive, it's amazing to say the least. I just felt like I'm playing it for the first time, I still remember it, I started playing it when I first got my "new" (the one I use now) PC, my friend hands over to me a DVD with stalker (copy), and I'm like "Do you like it" and he says "No, not really". I installed it and started playing, and little did I know I would still be playing it till this day. It has become my Nº1 game, one of the things that I will always cheerish till my last breath leaves my body. I love stalker. Cheers to you all stalkers!

The hands in Call of pripyat are hideous compared to in ShoC. Theres like a 3 cm gap between the hands and the actual rifle.

So, I have all 3 games of Stalker on Steam and I am too scared to play any. In ShoC I am in the canals leading to Strelok's Stash. Any way to cure just plain fear of dark/startling sounds ?

But hell, I finished Fallout 3 and all DLCs and now I am digging F:NV . Compare it to the fact that I can't even get through tenth of first STALKER.

Are there any good mods for Call of Pripyat which adds alot of new stuff, like weapons and armour, other than SMRTER, PRIPYATAN, and SGM? Or is there any way to get the PRIPYATAN armour and weapons without the annoyingly hard settings?

Is it even worth trying People soup + dmx with an i5-650 (3.20 ghz) and 4 gigs of ram?
