If I had to upgrade that PC I would do it in the following order: 1. RAM either up to 2x 1Gb or 2x 2Gb and boost it up to 1066 Mhz if possible (or 800 Mhz) 2. Change that graphics card, ATI 5770 or the nVidia equivalent are pretty powerfull (I should know,I own a 5770) and are pretty cheap. 3. Change that processor to a quad core or change the MoBo to accept a i5 or i7, even the cheapest models are amazingly good (the i series I mean) But dont worry about it now bro, now, good hunting and may the zone grant you plentyfull riches.

Be prepared for AMK to annihilate you for the first little bit, took some getting used to

So I finally beat ShoC, and wow was the entire end of the game a huge pain in the ass. Might have been because of my lack of medkits and anti-radiation stuff, stemming from the fact that I fucking legged my way through the entrance of X19 and most of Pripyat without thinking to go and stock up on items at a store or something, but whatever. Now what mod should I get? I'm leaning towards either AMK or LURK, however I know approximately 0 things about either of those. [sp]also hooray for getting crushed under "gold." man i completely forgot about Guide and Doc[/sp]

[sp]Throwing a weapon towards the hinges of a door will make it open/disappear/piss off somewhere into the world geometry. Just make sure it doesn't slap you in the face if it magically comes back. This means if you forgot to see Guide and Doc the first time, you can still throw a gun into the decoder door and get through. Or just play again.[/sp]

People soup is crazy I tell you, the gave level was creepy and difficult, there is tons upon tons of stuttering ( I just exited the game and my computer was still stuttering for about 30 seconds upon exiting the soup ) for me and it is pretty damn cool. Now if there is a way to get rid of the stuttering...
