I just saw a few videos on Swartz mod and all I can say is: Do not want! Horrible recoil that goes everywhere and blurs your vision. It's like Degtyarev would have been replaced by a skinny girl who'd never held a gun before. And most of the weapon animations are just horrendeous.

Seriously guys, i need help installing People Soup. I already DLed and extracted it to my game folder, and i changed $game data$ to "true", but it still loads vanilla shoc. Anything i'm missing?

Is there a gamedata folder?

That recoil is gone, and the animations are far better than any mod on Call of Pripyat. Please play it before you blindly criticize it. Anyone know any mods that add new weapons to SoC? I love the variety of weapons in AMK and I want more.

Ah, you just need to extract it ontop of the stalker-shoc folder.

Just started playing CoP. What does the symbol off to the side mean? The one with the pistol with a line across it?

LURK isn't hard once you get used to the difficulty of most SoC mods. Blaberry is a wizard anyway.

Anything to do to reduce the stuttering in Soup?

Defrag the game, get more RAM, get an SSD? Not much you can do about it really.

So everyone gets bad stuttering?

Soup isn't optimized.
