So I've been playing AMK:SE and I have one problem: the weather's been overcast almost the entire time I've been playing, which means that everything (everything) is all grey. I mean even the lights in Sidorovich's cellar are duller than usual. To further confuse me, whenever lightning strikes, every thing that's not shadowed becomes extremely contrasted, like very bright. Including, of course, the insides of bunkers and what have you. Anyone know what's up? Still, it's really fun killing a load of bandits and a Pseudogiant at the exit from Cordon to Garbage, or going back to the car park for a stash, only to find repopulated by bandits. And a Controller. Also having Wolf get murdered by an assload of soldiers, who I of course killed and got my trust AK-74 from. Makes me feel better about stealthily offing almost everyone in the rookie camp for money, because they likely would all have died anyway.

Unlike the man on the couch, he was cleanly shaven and his black hair was combed in a neat way to one side. ‘’ Candle and I were keeping guard outside, just like you said. The poor bastard went a bit further away to take a leak. I looked away from his for a moment, the next second he was standing there with a knife in his skull. I started shooting and ran inside. ‘’ He picked up a small, red cube and inspected it, still continuing his story. ‘’ You guys were still in the offices, so I took cover and waited for him to come in through the doorway. The next moment I was on the ground covered in debris from the explosion. Then you guys found me, dragged out of the pile, and we started running from the beasts. ‘’ The boss calmly kept smoking and stretched his feet on the couch. ‘’ And you didn’t notice who killed Candle? Not even a shadow? ‘’ He didn’t feel intimidated by this attack, Candle wasn’t a careful man and Flare was inexperienced as well. Soon you could hear quiet noises of drawers being opened and metal utensils clattering against each other. ‘’ Well, no matter. The Snork horde from his careless demolition job should have scared him off. ‘’ He continued smoking and now turned to the other man who was silently sitting on a nearby chair and was using his PDA. ‘’ Torch, what about the documents? ‘’ The man raised his dark green eyes from the device and gave a faint smile through his rough beard. Torch didn’t manage to grab his AK47 laying on the nearby wardrobe before a well thrown knife was lodged in his neck. The final man didn’t even attempt to grab his gun as he calmly stood up from the couch and looked at the person entering the room over the corpse of his comrade. ‘’ I have to say, I’d never expect anyone to be so stubborn and resourceful, to climb up to the 5th floor and breach a building though a window. I just cant get into Stalker for some reason. What am I doing wrong? PS: I only own Shadow of Chernobyl.

Right now there are 2 marksmen armed with Moist Nuggets, the guy who stands closest to the road has the upgraded Chaser that Father Diodor carries, the rest have AN-94s, IL-86s or various submachine guns.

Take your time, don't rush the main quest. The more time you take, the more you will notice all the positives about this game.
