Definitely. I really don't see why there's so much hate on it. I thought the whole game was a nice break from the "ultra-customizable fast-paced hardcore EXP rank-up" style of today's multiplayer. Simplicity isn't always a bad thing. The singleplayer was fun too; the only disappointment I had was in the final boss, but even then it wasn't all bad.

If the game wouldn't start at all or if was full of bugs... but that's just outright idiotic to give it a zero.
IGN, 1UP and Kotaku are all terrible journalist sites, but they're terrible because they rate every mediocre game TOO HIGH to please the publishers. The fact that they're even bothering to drop their scores below seven, much less give it the lowest score possible is a testament to the quality of it.
I just got the game and I have discovered something strange:
There are no blood decals anywhere. No blood that sticks to walls, so if I completely take an enemy apart, everything stays clean. Even when I squish heads, they simply pop out of existence without a trace.
And the bullet holes in enemies don't work properly, too. They only appear on the small areas where you took off a limb but not on the body itself. Anyone else has this bug? It's kinda annoying because the gunplay itself feel very unresponsive. Enemies simly rogdoll in a silly way when they die, bouncing a few inches into the air before flopping over.
That brings back baaaad memories from german game censoring. When you take the blood out, shooting your enemies feels like you just blow air at them until they fly away.
Anyone know a fix to this glitch?
I now know not to look straight up or down with the cigar in my mouth now.

The only glitch I noticed was when I was fighting the [sp]energy leech, when he slammed himself onto the ground once[/sp] I got clipped through the world and had to suicide. Other than that it was very polished.

Everyone atm has the bullet holes in enemies, but a guy on the Duke 4 forums who figured out a way to change the LOD quality higher and put the console back in to changed the FOV and such is working on a way to put back the bullet hole decals on enemies.

I'm having a blast with multiplayer, asides from the shitty connection. I hate when a game loads and then drops me because it can't connect to host
I recall in the Hollywood level, there was a guy flying around with a jetpack and Devastator. So I threw a pipe bomb high up and managed to kill him, fucking tons of fun the pipe bombs can be

Oh, and still griping about no servers on multiplayer. I managed to find ONE server that ONE guy hosted. I played about 2 matches with him and then he left. That match alone was fun for me, so I'm pretty pissed there are no servers at all.
Also, multiplayer map Erection sight is apparently the ruined remains of 3D realms' office
There's a desk that says 3D Realms on it with some missing letters, Duke game posters (Duke Forever and 3D on the wall behind the desk and Land of the Babes on the floor) and some Duke concept art on the bulletin board near the desk
