Oddly enough, all this pessimism and unhappiness has encouraged me to go buy Duke 3D off the XBLA marketplace. My shitty iPod port isn't covering much anymore.

I was ranting ye, mainly because I was hoping the full game would be much better than the demo based on the fact that the demo was only 10 mins long, and everyone was having massive rage boners about how bad it was

Not in the slightest bit, Dukes just an awesome character with an awesome persenality that makes the one liners work. If it was someone else trying to do the same thing it just wouldn't work.
My point is though it's Dukes character that makes the Duke games make them awesome.

If anything Bulletstorm would be generic as it was painkiller/serious same gameplay combined with a character with a personality which tried to resemble Duke, all mixed together with modern shooter style.
Which the way they made it, failed horribly at trying to achieve an old school feel.
Tell your friend bulletstorm was made to be like Duke and tell him of something called Duke 3D that was released in 1996.

Bulletstorm was massive fucking ass
It wasn't funny, it was incredibly repetitive, it was actually fucking boring, it tried VERY hard to be Duke, but failed.
Does anyone know how to beat the final boss legitimately.
He's a total ass and I can't tap fast enough.

My little brother's friend is trying to explain to me that Duke Nukem 3D was made by Id software, (on the genesis. He swears.) The RPG is a ripoff of Doom, and that the Famous Bubble-gum quote never actually happened. He never said that.

President wants to make peace with aliens calls duke a retard and tries to lock him in a cellar, the army general tells duke to take it easy and relax. Duke doesn't, president gets pissed and yells at him at random points of the game.
And yeah I weigh in, there's a LOT of cons in this game, and I'm not going to sit around saying "Well at least it got one thing right so that's okay guys."
