Did it end well or that is the last captured image from drivers perspective? :v:
Take a guess :v:
Take a guess :v:
I'd say they happily lived after :v: PS. I don't like how it blurs everything inside, with such a sharp contrast to nonblurry parts. [editline]4th April 2011[/editline] It also seems you didn't use NOS fully :smith:
And here it is in action. Don't mind the quality please, and don't worry about the last half of the video, it repeats for some reason :v:

Are you using a wheel though?

250 Miles per hour jesus christ, no wonder that thing didn't take off and flip a few times
For those playing on the 360 with a gamepad, there are two reasons the game feels like its handling is way off. It's because the default car tunings and input settings really are way off. First, the default settings for the input sensitivities don't really make any sense considering how this game was designed to be played. The best inputs I've found that allow both 1:1 control and smooth acceleration/deceleration/steering are these: Steering Deadzone: 3% Steering Sensitivity: 50% Throttle Deadzone: 5% Throttle Sensitivity: 50% Brake Deadzone: 5% Brake Sensitivity: 50% Speed Sensitivity (Regular/Drift): 100% Second, by default, all the tires in the game are ridiculously over-inflated. I have no idea why, but most cars have tires at 50 psi if left unchanged. Drop the psi down to the 28-32 psi range and you'll have tires that are running at pressures they were actually designed for. With these two tweaks combined, the difference in handling is like night and day. I really don't know why the defaults were set as they were. Also if there are people who aren't doing it, put the half hour or so it takes into tuning your car of choice. I don't know why tuning has so much more of an impact here than it does in Forza, but a car tuned to your driving style is miles and away faster around a track than an un-tuned one. A tuned car will feel much more like what you would expect it to drive and behave.
Caterham with works is a joy to drive.
Driving the Supra is like *brrm brrrrrm* *CRASH*
Anyone try any cars that turned out to be monsters, like the Supra? [editline]4th April 2011[/editline] New record for me :v:
Im taking a day to try out the game to decide if I want to buy it. Verdict: Fuck yes. Even with a gamestop 360 gamepad this has to be the most fun racing game I've ever played. The physics are not bad at all and the game is B E A YOOTIFUL. Anplar, you must be doing something wrong. I plugged in my gamepad and went straight to playing. No issues at all.
Get a Supra and then it's really fun
Get a Supra and then it's really fun
I'm still having loads of fun with the NFS RX8, which actually sounds like a rotory. [editline]4th April 2011[/editline] Even if it's very close, this game isn't a physics simulator like iRacing, Rfactor, it's a "driver's experience" simulator. And the best one at that.
Jesus Christ, the Statistics GUI says my Supra is putting out 1700hp with NOS
Jesus Christ, the Statistics GUI says my Supra is putting out 1700hp with NOS
If it's completely built, that sounds about right. [editline]4th April 2011[/editline] I just did a few hotlaps with the Lancia Delta Integrale with the "Works". OH MY GOD This does Group B some justice.
I suck with supercars in games usually (shifts and tdus at least). I'd rather drive Golf than Koenigsegg :v:
I really want this game, even more now that I've seen some videos.
The computers they used to show the game must have been pretty old. None of the vidoes I've seen have done it justice. Core2Duo E6850 @ 3GHz 4GB memory PNY GTX260 896MB Core 216 I run it on all high except in AA, MSAA, and motion blur at 1920x1200. It looks fucking awesome and runs at around 40fps.
At first nightraces stuttered like fuck, but right now it's playable (made some config tweaks which are supposed to raise the quality even more than the options and suddenly it worked.) I'm really loving the game right now, although some cars just handle like utter shit.

I only manage like 25-30fps with an Athlon II x2 @ 3.6, 4GB memory, and a 5770 at 1080p on the same settings the game probably likes nvidia/intel or something

Is anyone having issues with SLI. I have to have it running on one GPU to get any sort of framerate.

I get around 40 to 60 fps according to fraps.

I run it maxed out (No AA or Vsync) with a HD 5750 as well, 1680X1050, 4Gigs Ram, Phenom 955
