I try to try out new artists when I listen to minecraft, it gives me time to get used to it, and if the music itself bores me I still have minecraft to entertain me.
A good digging song, especially when flatting out an area:

I pretty much always listen to post-rock when playing Minecraft. Sleepmakeswaves, in particular is a great band.

Minecraft, however, I listen to electronica along the lines of Royksopp and Lemon Jelly. It's calmer, so it fits more. Pretty much all their songs fit minecraft, but those three are my favourite.
Anything post-rock and/or ambient.

If you want to have an intense cave exploring experience, listen to this while exploring some cave systems. (on youtube there are 3 parts of the songs, it's pretty lenghty) Part 1
Always up for a bit of Wardruna, takes a while to get into it, but when the drums come in, it's amazing.

Have you ever felt that you need a more awesome feeling in minecraft? Well here is the piece of music you should listen to when you barge in to a server dressed as a creeper to grief the hell out of it!
