Why do any of you guys play PC games and not have at least 4GB of RAM? Seriously.
Money?
Also I ran games alright for a while on 2GB, was even on Windows 7 64bit.
Well, I can run it nicely, just need to open some space on my HD
2GB is typically fine unless you're running games that are practically giant benchmarks. I guess the good thing is that RAM is pretty cheap nowadays so you can pretty much go wild.

You fucking BaCkStAbEr!

RAM is pretty cheap.
25gb? :o
TOR's beta client is bigger than that by several gigs
RAM is pretty cheap.
Oh yeah forgot it's like $25 USD right now :v:. Still, 2GB of RAM isn't that bad.
Fuck games using XP forcing me to upgrade from Win 98
I can probably run it, but I might buy more RAM just in case I can't
my CPU is the minimum but my graphics card is better than the recommended. no doubt i'll still be getting like 20 fps max
Running this is going to be a cakewalk!
HD4200s are nowhere as good as 8800 wtf
Seems like I will have no problem to run it, looking forward to try it!
25gb? :o
fuck yes, finally a game worthy of my RAID array
Why does everyone think it will actually be 25gb? all games say way more than they actually are. Like bad company 2 says 15gb but its only like 5 gb
I think Carmack himself said it was around 22gb.
Really? holyshit
Really? holyshit
Hopefully all that space goes to lots of good content and wasn't wasted.
Even by my standards, 25GB is a lot to download.
25 GB is half my cap. Guess if I buy this I'll be going to the university to download it.
Too bad the gameplay itself doesn't look very interesting. Might change my mind though when I see my friend play it.
Even by my standards, 25GB is a lot to download.
It takes up 25gb when installed.
RAGE is one of those games that looks amazing, but I haven't heard enough about it yet to want to buy it. I'll wait until there are some reviews and feedback.

I have a 32 bit OS and my (two 1GB) RAM sticks right now are really nice (like a couple hundred each when I got them), so I'd have to get a quad channel kit right?

Stick 'em on eBay and buy two 2GB sticks.
It's going to be awesome running this maxed out and which the HD textures Carmack said they'd release later while getting a silky smooth frame rate
I can't even run BF2, why am I reading this.
25GB, glad I got an extra 1TB Spinpoint when I built my new computer.

2 GBs for a couple hundred dollars?
It's going to be awesome running this maxed out and which the HD textures Carmack said they'd release later while getting a silky smooth frame rate
Key word being "Might release a high-res pack for a smaller area to test the waters".
Could I run it on an
i3 and an ATI Radeon 550v and 4gb of ddr3 RAM?
2 GBs for a couple hundred dollars?
Sounds like he got RAM for a Mac at that pricing.
I don't think 2GB was ever that expensive?
