In CS 1.6 i get my ass wooped and in CSS i woop asses. I play CS 1.6 now and then, just for the shieldz....

Deleted Scenes Campaign is a freaking joke, i played true the whole thing a few weeks ago and it was absolutely terrible.

The 1.6 scene is still pretty big here in Sweden, we have a ton of tournaments and cups. Worldwide? It's dying, there's no denying in that. I hear it's especially bad in the US.

I played the other day and it was nothing but Tijuana pride and Guatemala servers. It's pretty much dead unless you're fluent in Spanish. Although, you could turn this into a good thing and try to learn a bit of the Spanish language by hanging around native speakers.

I own 1.6 but the only servers that don't lag for me are like servers from hong kong and like singapore or china (I don't know?) and then its some 13 year old asian kid screaming shit I don't understand....so yeah the TLATSD is no.

I still play CS 1.6 it was my first videogame ever played and I still love it to this day.

There are a handful of decent servers out there, it's not that bad. However, there are a lot of non-Steam users and I suppose that increases the player count somewhat. Just find a vanilla server with some conservative plugins and you're ok.

I do prefer it over CS:S as the added CPU usage isn't worth it for a simple gameplay design.
