elitist nerds of newerth
begone with your shenigans david blaine!
I'm at ~1600 psr because I only play with my clan/friends. No stupid idiots allowed :saddowns:
I am at 1500, all 0 because stats are for babies. Although that is my alt.
I float at ~1600. It's annoying playing with my friends.
I float at ~1600. It's annoying playing with my friends.
Playing with pubs is pointless. They're all so fucking retarded.
I haven't got enough non-retarded HON-playing friends to do anything but pubs. I guess I'm a bit retarted too though.. :c
Playing with pubs is pointless. They're all so fucking retarded.
There's a difference between playing with random pubs that may or may not be decent and playing with a friend who has no idea what he's doing.
There's a difference between playing with random pubs that may or may not be decent and playing with a friend who has no idea what he's doing.
Heh. Playing with a good team of friends is when this game gets good.
Just did an in house clan battle, best fun I've had on this game. Soulstealer owns when played by someone decent.
In house caln battles are the best. Me and my clan have this 'clan' we usually play against (consisting of 5 guys who are friends, and at about our skill level). While they're good at ganking, we usually win because they can't seem to do a clash correctly (I.E. they use their spells on the wrong person at the wrong time).
lol I played Pyro and I got Resto Stone and shit. was a pretty cool match, which we won, despite the fact the other team had like double of our kills.
So... How much psr you got?
1681. but psr means nothing.
Tried Fayde today, she's really fun to play with, really hard too. I like how you can mindfuck enemies with her ulti spell.
And I've got to 1750 doing pubbies so far. I've been on 1800 but I dropped a bit again in a series of games where my PSR drops by 5 if I lose :(
1681. but psr means nothing.
Because if you have 950 psr you will be respected by 1500+
You could have been dragged down by people who don't know how to play the game at all. In that case, you might still be a brilliant player, you just got some shitty teammates. [editline]12:22PM[/editline] today I discovered the most lame combo ever. Electrician + Devourer. They have way too much health. Devourer hooks you, blocks you off in the woods, uses rot, then Electrician grips you and you are done for. I ragequitted, that's the most unfair combo I've ever seen.
Because if you have 950 psr you will be respected by 1500+
They're just idiots. You could be the best player in the game, but if you have a retarded team, you're still going to lose. That's why people say PSR means nothing.
You wont drop to 950 PSR by only having a horrible team. That generally means you're horrible yourself too.
The new heroes any good? I'm interested in the walker dude.
PSR does matter in the sense that it is a good measure of how well you might do. It is NOT something to strictly base how good a player is or not. I know great 1300 players and terrible 1600+ players. I dunno about Fayde but I have played Chipper quite a bit and he was great before the patch and downright broken now. I do my usual starting items, then rush for a nomes, then stormspirit (optional really) but get that Staff of the Master. Not only is the buildup actually good on Chipper, but his ultimate will now have a 70% slow that goes through magic immune. Skill build should definitely raise tar, then depending on the lanes pump up rockets or put a couple points into magic immune if they have a lot of magic users and you have a good initiator. My favorite thing to do with chipper is ult, stormspirit, they land back on the ult, slowed by 70%, land a perfect tar on them for 80% slow, then rocket spam. Huge damage output.

Can't wait for them to nerf Fayde. In trouble? Ult. Attack a few times to laugh in their face and then run away.
Can't wait for them to nerf Fayde.
Fayde isn't the one needing a nerf, chipper is.
Fayde isn't the one needing a nerf, chipper is.
Both of them. Horribly balanced.
What would they do to nerf him? Change the rockets back would work, I suppose. Maybe nerf the tar slow? This third skill is still situational depending on what your lineup and the enemies lineup are so that can stay. Ultimate is fine but 70% snare on Staff is a bit much. I could support the notion that he is probably too good of a ganker, but I really don't know how to fix him.
The rockets do too much damage and cost too little mana, the mini stun should have a cooldown, the slowdown from the tar is way too high.
I think toning down the damage and removing the ministun from a move that requires aim is a little unfair given the amount of easy stun/nukes in this game. Also he scales, early game he can't spam rockets as easily due to mana constraints, midgame he can fire level 4 rockets all over the place, late game he can fire rockets that do shit damage. He already has some weaknesses as well, low armor and move speed, low health for the entire game, no real escape mechanism (stun/slows could count but given you have to actually aim them, trying to stop a chaser is difficult). But these are the problems a lot of gankers share. The tar slowdown is huge but remember it scales depending on how you land the tar which is, I think, a reward for having good aim. Overall Chipper is just how S2 described him: Bad players will be frustrated and see no point, good players with have the second best ganker in the game (Hag is and has been a boss for a long time).
