/off topic What happened to you, you had like 300 posts when I first saw you in the early HoN thread. You post a lot now. :raise: /on topic Fucking servers keep crashing and lagging, I hope they fix that soon.
Really? Wierd. And yeah, servers are pretty bad sometimes.
I'm Azerrad. I have no idea what I'm doing when I play and I am yet to find someone who is nice enough to actually help me.
a) last hit creeps, don't keep auto-attacking. you may need to time your attack animation and damage to get it right. to avoid auto-attacking, either keep walking back and forth, or you can press h. oh and denying is used with a then clicking on an enemy. b) run away when your health is below 1/3. c) avoid being on your own after 15 mins, this is when ganks begin. d) when laning, keep calling when your opponents go missing from your lane, even if they have just died.
dota is better dota 4ever
Could you at least point out how? No? That's because you are just a cheap troll.
The most fun thing to do for me in HoN is to use the portal key to get next to an enemy hero and chuck them as Pebbles into my own team, I kept doing it to Thunderbringer until he ragequited. :buddy:

I must say that HoN is very hard to get into properly at least to degree that people stop yelling mean mean things at you every game. What I would say as the most basic advice: 1. DO NOT FUCKING DIE. It's one of the most important, while one of the least apparent rules you should obey. In most multiplayer games, death means barely anything, and when are you not playing some game where every kill counts, you can pretty much rambo everywhere and just look silly, without majorly helping the other team. In HoN however, mainly in the start of the round, letting enemy team to kill you helps them very much. Pretty much, 4 player team in 5v5 has often higher chance of winning than 5 player team with a guy that feeds (term for constantly getting killed without any positive outcome). If you are low on health, fall back. If you spot enemies without backup nearby, fall back. If your team doesn't know where the enemies are, as they are out of anybody's LOS for longer periods (that means they are "missing"), fall back for a safe spot. They might be all coming for you. And one last, you have to figure out when chasing injured enemy is worthy and when it isn't. Even in seemingly safe situation, enemy can get teammates to help him, or even kill you on his own. 2. Know the heroes. This is pretty much the hardest thing to learn. To play efficiently and safe, you have to remember every single ability of every single hero, or, at least basics like "Has stun, has hold, has nuke, etc." You will need it to decide targets, to figure out your chances in duel, and to set up a right team. 3. Communicate. Mainly when you are new to the game, try to point it out, and listen to a advice coming from chat. The worst people I meet in the game aren't these who don't know how to play, but these who don't listen nor say anything, and play mostly on their own. There are 2 basic shortened chat gestures:
B or b or bbbbbbbbbbbbbb or FUCK RUN
This means you have to hit the deck. Sometimes happens somebody misuses it, and it's his fault then, however, the worst thing that can happen is when half of team obeys it and other half doesn't. Just abandon your target and run to safety. Safety is kinda dynamic term in HoN. You gotta figure where it is safe on your own.
mis or mia or -x
This is used mainly in early game, and players use this to state that the enemy from their lane is no longer on his place, so he can possibly threaten players on other lines. It's important to call when your enemy is away, and to read and check when enemies on other lanes are missing. I am no way happy with this post I just wrote now, but I have feeling my fingers will fall of if I type one more sentence on it. Good luck.
it wasn't really advice, more of a quick basics of what you need to know to stop people yelling at you.
Golden rule - Don't waste mana at the beginning until you know you can kill them or assist someone in killing them. Most people waste their mana completely and when they could get a kill or could have escaped they have none and usually die.
:words:
Right, Thief?

I hate Scout, S2 should remove that fucking OP hero. Every time I'm against him I lose, everytime I'm with him he takes all the kills and calls everyone else noobs. I hate that stupid noob hero. [editline]03:47PM[/editline] When is this game not in beta anymore by the way?

I lost connection for 5 minutes :( [editline]05:22PM[/editline] vent30.gameservers.com port 4326 we need to talk in a vent, unless you're 13 or something then don't join.
I hate players who instantly pick scout in the hero selection. You just know that they're gonna run around and being an idiot. Just had a game with a scout who didnt even get eyes. After i bitched at him he got the skill but never put any out. I just afk'd till we finally could concede ( scout voted no since he got kills from landing last hits etc -_- )
