I agree with what you're saying.
There's some article about it on the official forums, you can go read it if you want to. But what it basically says is: [i]You can be a tank if you have a lot of HP. But all that HP won't do good if your enemies don't have a reason to attack you.[/i]
Armadon does this with his massive area damage with Spine Burst. You really want to get Armadon down to stop all that area damage. Armadon also has a crapton of EHP with Armadillo, which also boosts his area damage even more.
tanks are basicly based upon hoping that your enemies are stupid enough to spend all their time to get that one invincible target down instead of all the softies

Also the fact that both hardcarries need the kills from ganks and teamfights when they do them, which means less gold for each.
Best way to counter them is gank them constantly early game.
in pubs most of those choices are nono. hurrah for idiots

or more than one member of your team could TP, ensure the enemy carry is raped, then push 5v4 while the most crucial member of their team that late in the game is dead
Backdooring is an entirely legitimate strategy that is easily countered by warding.

It resizes if you choose to copy their silly code, but you can choose the size up to 1024x768. I would much prefer a resized image that you can still see with a link to the original than a huge one(Considering my screen resolution is 1920x1080, so my screenshots wouldn't fit on most people's monitors).
