Yes, and I hope so. They said you would be able to create new gamemodes, but maybe they just meant new gamemodes like 'banning-pick' etc.
Only problem is that Warcraft III had so many units, buildings, textures, sounds etc etc to choose from. HoN doesn't have that much.

Dunno if it's new but I just discovered you can solo Kongor as Gauntlet on level 7, his passive slows attack speed to 120% so Kongor doesn't attack you as long as you attack him.

Unfortunately, killing him at level 7 with gauntlet only would take too long to be a viable strategy.
Yep but it's nifty at level 10-12 with your whole team because you get a nice gold/exp bonus and you also have a token with minimal damage done to you.

1. WC3 and TFT cost money, since you seem to have forgotten that.
2. HoN has actually taken on a pretty large tournament scene already, it even replaced DotA at Dreamhack for being a better balanced game.
3. More heroes but there are so many that are never used because they're poorly designed. There's also Techies which are stupid and have no place in a proper game.

Yeah. CC is borderline OP, I have even used it to get out of being ganked as it drained [I]all[/I] of the enemy's damage. I killed him and we both scratched our heads for a moment trying to figure out what happened.

Hardcore mode is imba in nukers and skill orientated heros is it not?
Had a great game today, I was on a team without any carries, and we were against 3 hardcarries and 2 nukers.
We managed to win, because I was Keeper of the Forest, and I only died twice. I don't know why they didn't buy dust/eye/whatever.
Bubbles is hilariously fun and strong.

Yeah, he can initiate like a champ. With Storm Spirit, Take Cover, and the shell fling I was able to survive an entire team on me. That resulted them in blowing all their AoE and my team steamrolling them.
