I played the first one before and I gave up for too many deaths. I can't get used of the old configurations.

HD Collection is coming to Vita, minus PW. Having MGS3 on the go sounds awesome.

Fuck that torture scene in PW, that's the one thing in that game that made me stop playing it because literally everyone I knew couldn't get past it.

But then again, i suck at any game mode thats no respawning. I think this will end up being a rant about MGO in general... which i'll do. Now, MGO (2) was... "good", although it hasnt exactly stood the test of time, It was pretty much the first online game i've played on the PS3, and i played it for a long time. I enjoyed it But it had its huge problems. One being that this game was RAGE worthy. Trust me on that. Its up there with stuff like Modern Warfare 2 and perhaps World of Tanks. (Dunno about World of Tanks, it can piss you off quite easily, MW2 is, since i snapped the disk for that, something i dont normally do aswell). If you could look at the box for MGS4 you can see "Tactical" and "Espionage" in the front and "Utilize classic metal gear stealth elements in this original online experiance" in the back, since MGO was advertised... Yeaaaaah... the problem with trying to stuff like that nearly everyone is running and gunning with that fucking M4 custom like its a call of duty. You cant even use CQC that much unless your working with team mates, pretty much due to the runner and gunning M4 elitist assholes who kick you out of the game for using anything other than a Assault rifle (Pretty much the AK102, M4 Boring as fuck Custom and the XM8) and lag which is a huge issue, and then you have the glitchers and all that. Really, it was the community that's killed it off, but whoever was in charge of the Online are also to blame for it. They had good idea's yet they where shit in putting them into the game, They shouldnt had westernised MGS4 and MGO2 so much. The original MGO was much better, although that also shared its problems. The learning curve is too much aswell. And its offputting that someone can instantly headshot you without previously looking at you. I'd hate to be a newbie again and try and play that game, Particulary with the ammount of elitist pricks that still play the game. A clan that springs into mind was "To the Max", bunch of arseholes. The game is full of arseholes. As i said before, if you use anything other than a rifle in a Public game, chances are you'll get kicked if you become a hassle to them, I ended up using the M870 shotgun, which you can't headshot with unless your playing a drebin point match and buy slug rounds. The shotgun in that game was underpowered and required "Tacitcal" thinking to perform decently with it. This gun will piss off many foxhounds and elitists it wasnt even funny. So i ended up getting kicked alot. Or shouted at. Thats just a example of the stupiditly of the community. Maybe the Japanese Community is better but, i've given up on Metal Gear Online in general. The level system is retarded, might i add. You could go supporting your team with scans and such and get Minus exp but you could go 10 - 10 and get plus exp. I've seen it happen. Its stupid. And people cared about XP, Level, K/D, Ranks and GP, pretty much everything. MGO could had been better if we didnt see our stats. Out of sight, out of mind. The update is rather huge because it contains everything. Map packs from Gene, Meme and Scene, Hero Characters, Character clothing. All that. Really you just buy the unlock code for those items. Thats my rant over about MGO. Im glad its slowly dieing. It needs to be abolished, really. The sooner they pull the plug on that the better, MGO2 is indeed a disgrace to the rest of the series, yet if they brought back the Original MGO set in MGS3, and put that into xbox live. Then im sure that would be fucking awesome. Random fact - the power in my house has gone off twice while trying to edit more into this rant, Such a pain in the ass. Im trying to install Vindictus here. >.>

Only game that has made me cry was MGS4. Seeing Snake so old and knowing he's going to die very soon, very sad at the end.

I wonder how they're going to continue the series after Rising. I think they should remake the original Metal Gears.

Holy shit. This brings me back. Metal Gear Solid was one of the first games I played that had a storyline worth giving a shit about. I remember coming rather close to tears at a few parts, but never actually did cry. The first time I completed it I just sat through the credits in awe at what I had just played.

Getting interrogated by Revolver Ocelot. I've never mashed buttons like that. 'cept maybe on Resident Evil 5 hanging from a ledge, while Chris is punching a rock.
