It does. In the intro.
Doing a 2nd total playthrough of the game right now, wasn't enjoying so much for a long time.
I've forgotten, how is the music in Brolands, been over 6 months since I last played it, I think.
Played it recently. It was fun at first, but when you get the best equipment, its kinda boring.
Bought the DLC on the sale and have began to revisit it with a 2nd playthrough. Good fun seeing as I've forgotten what most of the quests were when I first played it so its new in parts all over again, plus I have all new missions to tackle with all the DLC's im yet to play and a new level cap.
Did they ever fix the bug in Knoxx's where you could go loot the place infinitely? [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] Hmm, it doesn't say that they've fixed it in the patch notes... [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] And googling also says no. :3:
Another couple that got engaged because of games. :3: It was really nice of Gearbox to do that, don't you think?
I've been playing this game again lately, kinda glad I am.. fucking loved this game when it came out.
I love this game. Yeah, the ending was incredibly disappointing and the game gets repetitive very fast, but I still think it's really fun. I have 188 hours in it and still don't have Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot and Zombie Island of Dr. Ned.
I felt so bad for General Knoxx, I wish you didn't have to kill him.
i fucking love this god damn game [editline]24th April 2011[/editline] Seriously. Nothing I could possibly say could describe how much I enjoy Borderlands.
I totally agree.
Mordecai, More dick in my eye.
2nd time I finished the storyline and I'm not sure what happened - we opened the vault, killed that big shit and that's it?, that what the vault contained?
The ending reward for the Claptrap Robolution is what I imagined entering the Vault would be like, still haven't beaten the game, playing through all the DLC's and sidequests currently, restarted as Roland and I like him so much more than Mordecai. Bloodwing seemed so useless.
What and the Turret doesn't? [editline]25th April 2011[/editline] Level 61 as Roland and the only good thing about the Turret is the healing, otherwise it's shite. Cauterize is good with Sledge's Shotgun and a Class Mod that gives me 5 Shotgun Shells on it.

I'd rather 1-shot any enemy with my sniper or revolver than send out a bird that takes a good 10 seconds to fly over and nip at it then fly back. The turret is great for distracting bosses, giving covering fire, shooting elemental rounds for me, healing + ammo, cover. I guess different players favor different action skills but the turret is so convenient for me.
Hahaha, I was hosting a game, some guy joined and I told him to drop all his weapons so I could dupe them. He does and I kick him immediately. He had a bunch of hacked weapons and shit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoMl5cvVuEg (User was permabanned for this post ("Spammer" - Overv))
2nd time I finished the storyline and I'm not sure what happened - we opened the vault, killed that big shit and that's it?, that what the vault contained?
The vault contained the Destroyer and that's all. The Angel used you (and your friends of course) because she knew you were the only one who could get strong enough to stop it. If you hadn't been there, Steele would have collected the parts of the key herself, and the world would have been domed because nobody stood a chance against it. As Tannis predicted, you and whoever plays with you have a circular existence, where the vault opens every 200 years and every 200 years you come along and stop it. Then everything goes back to wherever the timeline starts and you do it again. And again. And again. The second playthrough is a canonical thing, it's not just a new game+. I mean, it is, but it has plot significance as well.
She thought you could stop it from even opening, didn't think you were strong enough to stop it, at least in the beginning.
I and 2 other friends have decided to play this game from start to finish in exclusively coop. However, we have many many questions that we would love to find out about. If any experienced players could help us out with these questions, that would help a ton. All weapons are almost the same (bullets go foward, compare that to tf2 classes' weapons). Why would you use any other wep than what your class mod boosts? Arent some gun types like repeaters and revolvers outclassed in every way by smgs and snipers respectively? How does team exp splitting work exactly? We only play together, but we level up at different times, even with only small variations in challenges completed. What is the best way to divide weapons? Currently we have a tanking brick, a healing soldier, and a crazy damaging siren, all doing their role exclusively as they can. With the conditions stated above, are more extreme builds viable? (No health or shield skills for siren, only supporting team skills for soldier, tons of tanking skills for brick) We always seem to be barely scraping by on money. We can almost never afford sale of the days even though we rarely buy guns, dont buy health, and sell EVERYTHING. Is money supposed to be this scarce? In other coop games like l4d, teamwork has to be talked about, but in borderlands all the most intelligent plans turn into 3 people running around, shooting, and all barely helping each other up before we respawn. Are we doing it wrong? Any other tips?
Not all weapons shoot straight. Because you can? Though I don't. Nah, I have a piss-awesome revolver that outshoots all my other weapons, incl. my best SMG and Sniper with dmg boosts. Not sure When I play with friends we mostly divide them to each player according to classes, eg. Siren gets SMGs, Hunter gets Snipers, etc. Yes. Don't remember. Yeah.
Arent some gun types like repeaters and revolvers outclassed in every way by smgs and snipers respectively?
I have a repeater that, with the proper mods, has over 150 rounds and just destroys people in close range. I can just hold down the trigger and everything in front of me will be dead, and I'll still have ammo to spare.
Played B-lands on PS3 for 2.5 Playthroughs (and all DLC), then bought it on steam during that epic sale (B-lands+all dlc for 8 bucks, fuck yeah.). Turns out modding guns isn't dead, you just have to make sure your gun is legitimate before you can use it, and to do that, you either need great know-how of the game, or use this: http://blmodding.wikidot.com/gear-calculator [editline]27th April 2011[/editline] also we should all take pictures of our best guns.

That was a nice day of 7*150 shots, not counting crits and skill bonuses. Both absolutely DESTROYED everything
I don't like gun modders :smith:
Playing with 3 friends right now, we're all different classes. Bought it release day on 360 and played up until spring. Got bored and sold it on eBay. A bro gifted me it when it was $5 on Steam so :v:.
2nd time I finished the storyline and I'm not sure what happened - we opened the vault, killed that big shit and that's it?, that what the vault contained?
were you people honestly expecting the vault to contain amazing loot?
