Played through this with 2 different characters and I'm currently playing through another as brink with my buddy but whenever we play, he usually gets bored in like 1 hour and then we play something else..

I always found it odd how they made cinematic intros for inconsequential characters, but important characters rarely got one.

what the fuck I picked up an unmodded gun on some random server and now all my missions are gone...

I just completed playthrough 1 with a friend of mine (for the third time over the course of two years), doing the DLC solo now because he lost interest.

Hopefully borderlands 2 will have more interactivity and maybe some good npc's. I hated playing singleplayer (multiplayer is a laggy fuckfest) alone because you have NO ONE to help you. at all.

I quit around 3/4 of the way through singleplayer on my first playthrough. It got boring as fuck, and I didn't feel like the ending was gonna be rewarding. I might pick this up again and play as anyone other than Mordecai.

This game was boring and repetetive. I played for about 3 hours then stopped when I realised it was all fucking the same. Kill some shit, get loot, find loot chests, kill a boss, buy guns, level up. That's all this game consists of. The vehicles and gore could be pretty satisfying but it got old FAST. It just didn't seem to have any depth to it.

Sorry for the bump. I'm planning on getting the GOTY edition sometime in the next few days. Is there anything I should know in terms of best class, tips, or good mods? Thanks in advance to those that answer. Once again, sorry for the bump.

Its cool man, I don't really know that much but I'm looking for someone to play a game with. I know I'll need game ranger or somethin'.

They would be more knowledgable than anyone here

This game got incredibly boring very fast. Nobody plays multiplayer anymore. The most fun i have in this game is giving away all my rare guns to people for free, that is, if there is any. Does anyone want to crawmerax farm with me? host a server or something.

Hey, I bought it on Steam but when I fire it up, it gets all laggy at the main menu where that little robot is running around. Anybody knows what's going on?

Is here someone who can gift me the game from america? When I buy it here in germany I get the crappy cut version. Of course I will pay back with Paypal

I checked Steam/Gearbox forums which a lot of people are having this problem. All you gotta do is downgrade to the last Nvidia driver.

I don't understand how this game plays, is it story driven and the story progresses as you do quests or are the majority of the quests from random people that tell you to go and kill this person and get this in return? Also how does the co-op work out alongside this?

Also how does the co-op work out alongside this?[/QUOTE] Story is pretty balls. It's more or less a stale version of Diablo 2 with guns instead, and all classes have only one active skill. All other skills are passive. Coop is like Diablo 2 style, basically drop in drop out of singeplayer and help each other play through singleplayer.

God, the game is such a bitch. Now getting general protection fault on launch.

Well, i just beat borderlands. The final boss was a goddamned joke. It took me like 100 rounds from my assault rifle (half a clip) and about 15 seconds to kill it.
