I'm pretty sure that EULAs are not legally binding in EU due to the fact that you cannot read the EULA before opening the game/software package, and thus you are forced to purchase the software before actually being able to read the agreements that you have to accept before you can use the said software.

Also, as long as the moderators allow people to discuss this I don't see why you are even having an issue with it, just don't read this thread?

I wouldn't be surprised if all character stats/items/mob ai/abilities etc are hosted serverside like they do with WoW. If this is the case, cracking the game will let you do nothing more than run around the world with no weapons, using abilities that don't work against mobs who don't fight back.
