Use WorldEdit or something to replace all the stone with obsidian? You could change the texture to look like stone, so it wouldn't matter as much.

I found some sticks and made a lever to open all the doors I came across. [editline]18th August 2011[/editline] also after I won I dug into the maze and found there was a second floor, never even found the stairs to go up there.

PS: You can read between the lines to see how you can get to the second floor.
96 points. I also had 6 gold blocks. don't know what their uses would be. I was feeling desperate and wanted to just quit until I found the cobble with the redstone. Soon after I got the lever and found my way out. cool map. Didn't cheat at all either. no crafting or anything.
Update! http://www.mediafire.com/?u0wxqjmycxeycxc -Replaced all stone with obisidian to prevent creepers from breaking the maze -Updated texturepack for the maze to look like as it was before
At first I thought this would be some Indian corn growing shit.
At first I thought this would be some Indian corn growing shit.
:D Well, the idea actually came from (i think) 3 different places. 1. It is a maze. 2. Corn is used to create scary mazes. 3. You are stuck in the maze, so you are "maized".
Amazing. I'm still trying to complete it. It's really cleverly made. How long did you use on this? [editline]19th August 2011[/editline] Also, anybody remember the impossible dungeon? The HUUUUGE one with buttloads of stages and four towers as final challenges.

After that, we've been working on this for way over 4 days. Not equally four days, but the creation expanding over 4 days.
